BREAKING LATRELL NEWS!

Just been told by one of my most reliable sources that Latrell to the Wests Tigers is practically done, just going over some small details in the contract!

Cowboys are 99% chance to sign Holmes, however Latrell will be visiting the Cowboys for assurance just in case the 1% chance of both the Tigers contract falling through and Holmes not going to NQ happens!

Expect both:

Latrell at the Tigers
Holmes at the Cowboys

How would the Tigers contract fall through if he's negotiating only minor details? Seems a lot of effort to look at another club when they've said you're our number 2 choice for fullback.

He wants an extra TPA or something i take it?

If you think about it logically, the Cowboys and the Tigers would be offering similar money. I don’t think it’s got anything to do with the cash on offer - that’s just my opinion.

In fairness, he was responding to my speculation when I wrote

I’m not the most informed guy on this forum, but reading between the lines of the comments by some in the know ‘tiger boy’ and some in the media ‘anasta’ I would think some of the stipulations that are in contract may be ensuring a guarantee to play a certain position. Might be ensuring his contract and deal has conditions if this doesn’t eventuate.
Especially with Anasta saying I know a little and it’s pretty much done at the tigers but his not ready for fullback.
Thoughts?

I would've thought that if we get Mitchell we probably miss out on Lomax. Someone will pay him for his goal kicking at least, if not as a fullback.

My god I'd lose it if we were to get those three, two would do. It would make such a massive difference to our club. Pretenders to contenders.

Trying to temper my enthusiasm, we have all been here before and let down, although I dont think we have ever had this level of optimism.
