I’d just like to add that Milford and Moylan are available . Different types of players , but much cheaper options . Hopefully this news puts pressure on a decision to be made

Wouldn't be surprised if the Milford rumour starts up again now that Croft is on his way to Brisbane.

yeaaa nahhh i would pass on Milford and Moylan and stick with Latrell, and Luciano........

get some young talent in a ranks a go

All i can say is aren’t we glad we didn’t rush out and sign bums like Moylan and Milford, and even DWZ this season. No way would we have been able to get in the position we are with Mitchell. That’s why you don’t rush out and sign any joker you can. You wait till the perfect player becomes available and you pounce.

Exactly. If you manage the cap space well you are in with a chance when quality players come on the market.

GNR's comment about not rushing to sign Milford or Moylan is correct, We are on the brink of singing one of the greatest natural talents in the game. If we can surround him with this influx of talent our team lifts from 9 into the 8 and then anything is possible,

From Reading The Play on Twitter:

“Plenty of noise around that a) Tigers offer to Mitchell is not where the Mitchell camp would like it to be and b) Cowboys have made a very strong play...

All likely gets sorted over next few days one way or another.”

whats the bet that cows sign both val and LM and the NRL don't raise a eye brow.

I reckon we'll see an announcement in early December.. maybe 3rd or 4th which will see a massive spike in Christmas membership.$ale$

Tbh I wouldn’t be surprised at all. It would contradict what LM said about playing fullback though. Maybe he just wants fullback money?

I'm tired of this already. We should just give up and move on. Withdraw the offer and plan for 2021. I'd cop another 9th if that means we spend up even bigger the following season.

He doesn't want to come here. Let's get people who do.

Depressed?

From FB:

”Big Sports Breaky have just reported this morning that the Wests Tigers have missed out on signing Latrell and that the Cowboys are in a position to sign both Latrell and Holmes.

This could be huge if it’s pulled off”

I reakon he has been on holidays and hasn’t put much thought into it at all haha and the media has just spun the hole thing out of precaution

@OzLuke I’m not one to buy into the media rubbish usually but I am becoming less confident he’ll be playing for us next year.

to be fair the guy has been around bushfire regions in his hometown, and every newsperson will be up his khyber pass for any skerrick of information about anythiing......

in all honesty he has all the power, and the kid probably enjoys it.

Whether he comes to us or doesn't, I just want it sorted so everyone in rugby league can move on

A lot is going on behind the scenes with signings/releases as clubs look to fill spots in their roster so who knows. Theoretically if Granville goes to Manly to play hooker the cows may be able to squeeze LM in. Thats if he rates NQ

All I know is that he hasn’t publicly came out and said anything about comming or not comming To the tigers our chairman has said we are interested in him and his manger was quoted saying they will sit down with west tigers next week to discuss the offer I’m not sure what we are all worried about haha

The Roosters announced the JWH contract yesterday. I have no inside knowledge but it has been suggested this signing was achieved by releasing LM, If this is correct, it would logically suggest LM is locked into a destination otherwise the Roosters would be exposed in terms of expenditure? Furthermore, didn't Hooper write that JWS was going to Penrith>
