If I were Pascoe here is what I'd offer LM...

Offer a 3 year deal 2020-2022.

2020:
Get the Roosters to kick in $500k for 2020, kick in $350k to top up it to $850k.
2021-2022:
$950-$1m + fullback.

Use him for 3 years them let him go elsewhere(Rabbits).

We are in the box seat, no other club can offer him a decent $$ contract....his options are limited to us and us!

You do realise the Roosters are paying him $450k in total this year.
So you want them to pay us that + another 50k to Take him off their hands....
😒

They will contribute Nothing if he leaves early and I would not except us to even ask.. This is not a average player that a club paid overs for and just wants to clear Salary cap(E.g. Josh R, Packer,etc..), He is a Quality rep player and the new club would take the full cut and rightly so.

This:

“We are actively in the market considering a number of options that are available to us and if Latrell is to be one of those options he is more than welcome to reach out to us,” Hagipantelis said.

So, who are these other supposed options? Billy Britten?

They called me today and asked if I was willing to come out of retirement, so there is one of your options!

Polishing my boots as we speak

Are black, steel studded, ankle height boots still stylish?

I agreed to play fullback for $950k and a can of coke after every game!

I am sure that is incorrect?

Can I ask a question

The bloke on Fox (Dan Ginnane ) just was talking about the DT back page

He said very matter of factly that the reason we pulled the offer from the table was Latrell failed to show up for a meeting with Madge

Unless I completely missed this somewhere , it was not mentioned

Is this true ??

It was mentioned by someone on here!

Meeting was first postponed and then the morning that the offer was withdrawn the meeting was cancelled which led to the withdrawn offer.

Exactly. This isn’t Matt Moylan, who you try and be a scrooge over and try and get his current club to pay as much as possible. You do that for players who you aren’t willing to pay top dollar, but will gladly take them at a reduced price. Players the calibre of Mitchell, you pay what they are worth.

You might haggle if you’re buying an old Datsun. If you’re walking into a Ferrari dealership, you’ll pay whatever they charge.

I know a few posters who won’t hesitate in letting us know.

This circus has honestly done my head in fellas. I've read all the press, see all the interviews and heard all the rumours and regardless of what they all say, the tigers will pay one million dollars a season to a bloke who, talent aside, doesn't want to be here, doesn't play a full game and has so much baggage he needs a handler. The management of the club has, despite publicly with drawing their offer, remained in the hunt and been so focused on Latrell and only Latrell, to the point where it has cost us the any opportunity to sign any other quality players that were on the market, such as Arrow, Brimson, Lomax, Tapau, JAC, Scott, etc.

So sign this clown and bring on 2020.

PS If we the West Tigers management are reading this, sign Kevin Naiqama, a bona fide fan favorite.

Just not enough quality players to go around. Makes the expansion argument look precarious when cashed up clubs are scratching for decent players to sign.

The thing im most happy about atm is reading uncle nick calling mr brydens. It may finally be time that we have a board and chairperson the rest of the league take seriously and have a little respect for and more professionalism toward. I just cant imagine uncle nick ever contacting our chairperson five or so years ago about anything. To me that is a huge positive.

That's a great point. Fans should have a little more patience and a lot more faith in the direction the club is heading.

Exactly. You end up with Cleary signings. My inside information says that Latrell is desperate to be here. I've heard he has even bought a Wests Tigers teddy bear for himself and not for his kid. The comments about him not wanting to be here are really off.

Anyway let's hope the club actually makes a decent offer and we get him because we need some talent in our backline and he fits the bill.
