Latrell can take his circus and fast food diet elsewhere. I’m sure he will have some high light reels again next year but no way he will play fullback anywhere in the shape he is in at moment. After winning 2 comps playing for your country and an 800k offer for two year deal isn’t going to keep you happy, good luck with your next club

So what was our Chairman rambling on about his chat with Politis. He has embarrassed himself and the WT. Can someone tell him to shut up and stop talking to the media

Yeah right, he shouldn't say anything. Then we can just assume Barry O is still in charge.

Oh, but if our Chairman's rambles were correct I guess it would be okay for him to speak.

This is exactly why he or anyone else in his position should just do what they feel is right. You'll never please everyone.

As long as were releasing players early and not having contingencies in place before their release, then yeah he's not gonna please everybody.

The Chairman releases players now? Does Madge know? The CEO? Hartigan?

The extent to which people here will make stuff up to fit an agenda is incredible.

I want him and Pascoe to be the best administration in the game, but in my opinion, they come up short. The Farah debacle, the release of Matterson without "a favourable outcome" which they informed us would happen. They haven't convinced me, but I hope they do.

Mate Im pretty sure you dont know what a Chairman does. Add to that Lee wasnt here for the Farah "debacle" but you go on and death ride the bloke.

Isn't the CEO answerable to the Chairman?

No...the board of which the Chair is 1 person who gets to sit at the pointy end of the table..

Mate, it's just my opinion. Death riding our leaders would be dumb as a Tigers fan. This is a forum, I just have an opinion of our leaders which is different to yours.

So, with Gagai potentially going the other way when Arrow is released, and us helping out Souths some more by taking AJ.... LM is all but done at Souths.

Thats fine, you are obviously entitled to your opinion but you are basing it on something completely wrong and ridiculous, something completely unrelated to the job of a Chairman. Thats what im pointing out and that is not opinion its fact. Take it for what its worth. The day the Chairman has anything to do with player retention is the day we burn the place to the ground.

Its like saying that I think Madge is a crap coach because I dont like our website.

Mate Im sorry if you took it that way, obviously you can post what you want and express your opinions, others will do the same and If I think there is a flaw in the argument Ill express that as well.

We are all passionate and frustrated with our Tigers.

Add - the loss of Tedesco, Moses, Cleary, signing of Jennings, no impact in the ‘active player market’, and now we’re going to cave and hand LM to Souths. Time for a new leadership

Here we go again
So much for Mitchell’s never-ending contract saga being wrapped up before Christmas.

The waters are set to become much murkier with Mitchell’s accredited agent, Wayde Rushton, on the outer — and he hasn't been told why.

Mitchell is being heavily influenced by Matt Rose, a boxing promoter who also represents Walker and Jack Wighton. He also has the ear of Addo-Carr and several other Indigenous players.

Rose told News Corp earlier this week he doesn’t represent Mitchell and hasn’t been dealing with clubs on his behalf. The clubs that Rose has been selling Mitchell to scoff at this.

If Mitchell leaves Rushton and Rose takes over, that will mean three managers have represented him this year. That’s got to be some sort of record.

Tigers chief executive Justin Pascoe keeps saying the club is no longer interested in Mitchell but make no mistake: far more influential figures at the joint venture certainly are.

If Mitchell is going to Souths as many expect, it will be reliant on them moving a player. Dane Gagai seems the most likely, given he’s on $700,000 a season but there’s plenty of muddied water to go under the bridge before that happens.

It is, we must say, turning into pass-the-popcorn stuff with Mitchell digging in and the Roosters not getting rid of him as easily as they hoped.

Geez Andrew Webster is stretching it with a "Kaepernick moment" headline...LM is situation is, literally, absolutely nothing like Kaepernick.

Not even remotely close.
