All of the above took time and effort on Wests tigers part. Wests tigers were so focused on Mitchell that they did not spend a fraction of the time they could have spent on suitable players which were available for negotiation at that time. You have a point about Milford and I assume Moylan.
We could have gotten them at that price. I am not sure if we want Milford as people have pointed out he has struggled in Brisbane with a pretty good forward pack. It could be a career lull or a serious issue.

Moylan has been on fire for the Sharks and has slipped under the radar. I don't know if he is the top shelf fullback signing we want but man way better then Mbye.

Moylan on fire - have you been watching replays of Pamfers games from a few years ago.

How can you be kowtowing to a player when you aren’t actively speaking to him, I don’t know. Your definition of kowtow seems different to mine. Kowtowing to Latrell when you pull your offer to him!

Looks like I have to educate you. Check you dictionary; "Kowtowing is acting in an excessively subservient manner". As subservient is not usually a word you associate with I can define that for you as well.

So how is revoking a contract offer kowtowing to someone?

Don’t recall Milford or Moylan (I assume) two contracted players ever declaring their availability to test the market, let alone show any desire to play with us.

Milford I believe was one comment from a random poster on here, about a potential player swap, that then appeared in the paper as a one-off article that Tigers might be interested in talking to Milf who is unsettled at Brissy.

This was prior to the Latrell stuff, when the journos were clearly fishing for other stories to make up in the early off-season.

It's been reported both externally and by the pom and others on here what Moylan wanted . And Milford has come out repeatedly and stated he wants to stay in brisbane .
What else can we go off? A imaginary bias that has not even a fake article to support it ? Or news , fake , or other wise

Channel Seven’s Sunrise in their sport report this morning said LM soon to be a Rabbit on a 3 year deal. Whilst I want him at the Tigers I will be glad when it ends. If it does happen it will only make me loath Souths more.

The salary cap is really working..Two biggest players in the market place go to the one team. Similar to Cronk and Teddy two year ago.

I guess we sit back and see if we pick up the crumbs or maybe the Coast might even beat us to crumbs.

This signing was never going to happen. Signs were there when he didn’t turn up for arranged meeting A when the offer was tabled. The club then pulled the offer and stick to that decision which I reckon was the right course of action.
All signs show that he will go the club of his choice (Souths) and good luck to him. Then all they have to manage is the JAC signing and they will then have premiership backline in place. Still not the premiership winning pack to clear the path for them to perform.
So hopefully that will be done soon and we can kill this thread. Amen.
