Lawrence and Woods are Blues in Waiting
Wests Tigers centre Chris Lawrence and prop Aaron Woods have been chosen in the 2013 NSW Blues In Waiting Camp.
Lawrence and Woods have both attended the camp previously but it will be the first time under new NSW Coach Laurie Daley. Both have come close to representing the Blues. Lawrence has represented City Origin and Australia while Woods played City Origin and represented the Australian Prime Minister’s XIII team in Papua New Guinea in September.
The camp will be held in Sydney from Friday, January 18 to Sunday, January 20.
“The emphasis of this camp is on what it takes to become a successful Origin player and team member and learning about the values and trademarks that I want the NSW team to adopt,’’ Daley said.
“The camp will include Origin history, individual positional session, team drills and full rehabilitation and recovery for players over the weekend.”
