Lawrence in origin 18th man

Someone needs to go out to Homebush and kneecap Beau Scott

Possibly one of the dumbest posts I have read here.

Lighten up champion. I actually wasn't being serious.

Good sign for Chris, the 18th man is usually in line for selection in the next few years.

Yes but you seem to be forgetting le petite du Fubster's return and the love affair the media has with him

Could put it any better. How this player is in the NSW team is beyond me. In my many years of watching rugby league I find the non selection of Chris Lawrence and Robbie Farrah the biggest selection blunders ever.

The way NSW Selectors pick teams, Gaz will probably play 6 next year

I was thinking the same thing…

Love to see Chrissy get it but its gonna be tough.. May be stuck behind:
Josh Morris, Mark Gasnier, Matt Cooper, Jamie Lyon, Beau Scott, Michael Jennings..
Better then all of them I know but will the selectors see it that way?

Out of Josh Morris, Beau Champion, Jamie Lyon, Joel Thompson and too a lesser extent, the likes of Pomery, Ferguson, Colllis….it seems Lawrence being recognised as 18th man demonstrates that he's closer than perhaps any of us think which can only spur him on to strive harder ro an elusive NSW jersey in 2011\. That desire will keep burning in him for the rest of the season well into the future. The selectors see how much of an asset he could be to the Blues campaign to start a fresh next year. In the mean time though, i'm sure Lawrence's disappointment not to be in the Centres for NSW will be qujickly eroded if Wests can make the finals and possibly go one step further.

He played at 6 in the 06 decider 😕

Good to see Rowdy warming up with the boys. Haven't noticed any of the backs pull a hammy though.

centres next year will be gasnier and lyon…you can see it already

Nah, I reckon Lawrence has a great shot next year if he's playing well.

How tough would he be doin it?
Patience champ…patience.
Good things come to those who wait...he will be part of the Blues resurgence

He would have done a much better job than Scott tonight. Everything he did was poo. Missed several tackles, got beaten (on the outside) by a second rower, stuffed up several attacking raids.

Lawrence for Origin 2011!

I had to laugh when Ashley Harrison blew past Scott like he was a witches hat.

Ashley Harrison FFS.

It's like getting poleaxed by Roy Bell.
