Lawrence in the pack

It was great to see him with a smile on his face after the game hopefully he gets some confidence back and starts enjoying footy again..

He still struggles with his hands when playing tight flat balls in traffic A good second rower eats that up

But he has been very good other than that since the move

Happy, i dont think it was Rowdy's fault dropping that ball.
It was a hospital pass from Brooks to him..

On topic, very pleasing to see him playing this well
We all knew he was NEVER shy of hard work, he is doing exactly that up front.

IMO way better job than Sirro too at this stage

Loved his post game comments regarding his not so good looks after 2 weeks in the forwards!

At what stage - Give him a go - Rowdy has the experience and is an International.

He should've made the move 2 yrs ago in retrospect. He's a bit like Blair in the fact that here on out, no matter how well he does, some still will never stomach him.

Happy to say I bagged him earlier this year as a second rower and have been proven wrong. It look like more touches during the game and the whole running out wide are suiting him to a tee. Very happy to see him progress

Hospital pass…? It was Reynolds in front of him. It was a gimme of a second rower set up to be one on one with a smaller guy.

That said I forgive him because I love Lawrence. Fantastic bloke and there isn't a player in the comp I would prefer to excel

I am very happy to see him in the backrow and playing well his future probably is there. However according to many he is on a top centres money. when he comes off contact if he wants to stay he should accept reduced money to reflect his new position.

He needs to improve mainly with his hands. You can't drop the ball cold. Still I'm liking him in the backrow. He hits hard and has some pace for a backrower.

The guy could always hit a hole, but with his loss of pace the back row will be his best position now. Could be another Luke Lewis, an international level outside back who moves into the pack and excels.

Can't argue with that

I'm sure he will Jadtiger.

He was on a back loaded 5 year contract something like 150,000 for year 1 and up to (guess) 650,000 for year 5 but the average was probably 350,000\. Probably what he was worth when he signed. He has not received a penny more than he signed for. I don't begrudge him 650 if he was forced to take 150 at the start. I'm sure he will sign for 300-350 if they offered him that (not unreasonable) on what he has shown the last few weeks and it won't break the bank. I am sure he wouldn't want to go anywhere else. He has black white and gold blood in his veins.

I think he will only get better as he gets more miles in the legs and gets used to the additional work load. I would like to see him develop an offload and be a bit more creative however that will come with time and confidence.

His work off the ball was very good last night.

It's definitely a move for the better. He hits the line hard, runs good lines and his front on defence is pretty solid.

Nah, Brooks and Moses still throw too many passes right on the advantage line. You can't be trying to take a footy, judge a collision and eye the gap at that same instant. They need to throw their passes slightly earlier. Rowdy, Taupau, Sue, Siro have all copped these bad passes.
