It was discussed somewhere here - last week

Premierships and getting to the big one revolves around one thing KICKS if you ain't got a kicker of high percentage your wasting your time. You only have to look over the years of clubs carrying average footballers on the winger as they kick with huge percentages Gordon is amust unless there is a kicker with the same percentages already at the club..

Geez I hope he plays again…would be an absolute tragedy otherwise.

Needs the attention of the best orthopaedic surgeon that money can buy, surely similar injuries, have been experienced in the NFL and EPL? Get on that bloody phone Tigers!

Only a fool would beg to differ. I agree and cannot think of an exception. Would not waste more than a moment to think about it. It is that obvious and someone who can kick is what we do need. Perhaps Wests Tigers 2010 can be that exception. I so hope so!

The thing with Gordan is that he's not just a good goal kicker, he's a good winger in his own right. He'd walk into most NRL teams even if he couldnt kick goals.

hmmm, missed this thread. Exciting!!
With McKinnon signing (1 year only but who knows) I wonder what difference that will make to Gordons signing.
It is interesting though & it would be great to re-sign Lawrence & Tui.
I think Gordon would be worth it purely for his boot.

He's still keen to stay at Penrith at this stage.

MEANWHILE AT THE CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER OF THE WESTS TIGERS OFFICE

**looks over Daniel Fitzhenry's contract**

Tim Sheens then looks over the shoulder of said financial officers shoulder and reads the details intently. He places a careful, yet comforting hand on the shoulder of the officer and gives a friendly pat. The financial office looks up and sheens, and sheens nods, knowingly.

**Adds extra zero to it**

Sheens gives a wry smile and utters one word as he goes to leave -

"Perfect."
