Lawrence

Chris had a few bad moments last night but he was one of the few players who actually made any metres as well. It wasn't his best game but far from as bad as some on here have suggested.

Until Brooks learns how to soften his passes our edge runners will always have trouble holding passes from him. Its been Brooks' problem for years.

Having a go at him for the penalty is very harsh. It was a borderline decision where similar things had been let go all night.

Chris was every in defence but I guess we will ignore the things that don't suit our agenda.

Spot on, Brooks passes are either behind the player, too hard or too high or both

Safe to say that Lawrence has the Fitzy award wrapped up this week.

Poor game last night but has otherwise been good this year. The whole side was ordinary last night in attack, sans maybe Brooks.

I feel for the guy. We had guys like Dwyer and Tuiaki have their careers ended playing for us. Dwyer is a what could have been story, and Tuiaki has probably the biggest cult following of any player that’s played for us. They are both remembered fondly. Lawrence suffers a crippling injury. He was still screaming in pain as he got into the ambulance and had to be sedated when they put his hip back into place. It was a horrifying injury. And now some of you look at him with utter disdain. It’s wrong.

It's called professional sport mate and crippling injuries occur … that's life !
Lawrence should be put out to the back paddock to graze ..

You should start your own blog as mentioned last week ..call it

Other than Garner and Drinkwater the rest seem to be satisfyied with playing reggies …McQueen is getting better each week ,Milne was a waste of money lazy .

Lawrence is the only one in our team who runs line at full speed, so there will be more errors then when you catch ball flat footed.Just watch for that in next games and maybe
you guys can be more forgiving.

How Long?

3 Crucial drop balls last night, as well as giving away a critical penalty on the 4th last night that had Brisbane level at 6-6.

He played well last week but his good games are rare as hens teeth …

Overall ...garbage player

For a guy that broke his body for the club, that is a garbage comment.

I’ll second that but if there is a better option Ivan must drop him

He’s there to run lines & HOLD onto the ball

Do your job or back to reggies and that should be across the 17

Most in this thread see the value in Lawrence..Eddie, Supercoach, Southerntiger, Bogan..all pretty knowledgeable posters… so I'm not sure who's against the grain..

but I know ....hey Imagine Rowdy forcing the Wests Tigers to sign him ..then re-sign him the re-negotiate his contract for less but a longer term and then force the coach to keep picking him...

So you agree certain posters go against the grain just for an argument …that's settled then .

As for the club re-signing him for a longer contract on less pay , the club had rocks in their head .

But if Lawrence trains the house down that's all that matters hey !

He doesn't have consistant good games in him.

Lawrence and aloai bad with their hands.

Masters cannot kick.

He may kick em at training but u can see his craping himself kicking at game
We need a kicker asap.

Far out this guy cops it from left right and centre.

He and Brooks will always be the fall guy after any loss.

He has been great this year.

Lawrence and Brooks after starting the season with 2 from 3 and the 1 loss is due to a dodgy referring decision have been 2 of our best players. I don't get the criticism.

Yes Lawrence dropped a bad pass from Brooks close to the line. Aloiai dropped a good pass from Benji when he was in a hole.

Not Lawrence's best game, certainly not. He was good the previous two weeks.

Can I please also see the threads to cover the dropped balls from Thompson, Nofo and Aloiai, the missed tackles from Rochow, the bad passes from Brooks and Benji.

That's Captain Garbage from you…

Seriously Geo , enough is enough
Captain Nuffie has been milking a wage from this club for way too long

I think he should send his mrs out to work and join the local play group with his kid !
We deserve better !

A week is a long time in Rugby League I guess..

Then you have the Beast coming off the bench who is far , far better than Lawrence in every aspect of the game

If Cleary don't drop him Cleary is no better than the last coach when it comes to accountability ..
Nofa needs another month in reggies as well .

Who is this beast you speak
