The game may have been a crap result but that was an awesome try

I though he did a lot of good things tonight. His defense had been heavy hitting and he made some strong runs. Still not a tfull flight but at least he's one guy going the right direction.

A small positive is that Lawrence seems to be getting back to his best. I just wish we would create more space and unleash him

ok just wondering.. wasn't ayshford the driver? i thought they would've disallowed it coz of that tbh.. i know aysh is trying to keep him inside the field, but technically, wouldn't he still be the driver?

and great line by lawrence… MOST impressed by him today. my MoM and he is CONSTANTLY improving.. he always always always produces at the right end of the season. good luck to him in the future

Lawrence was much improved tonight. I actually think it is coming together nicely with 8 rounds left, Aysh & Lawrence are improing, Ellis is back, Masada offering something off the bench

He did play better tonight…but don't forget what round it is. Class players don't sit out 3/4 of a season like he has. If he needs this much time or is struggling from his hip than drop him. Wests is a buisness not a charity. I'd rather win with ayers that I dislike than loose with players is but a beer for.

You are allowed to do it to some degree just as long as you aren't pushing the Other teams players - Ayshfords hands were on Lawrence which I believe is technically legal.

The most annoying thing is the other variation to that rule

When players are being picked up and being taken backwards or towards the sideline once a player from the attacking side becomes involved (ie trying to stop them) the referee must called held

It ain't happening , the referees are just getting worse in my opinion

Chris looks to be moving a lot better and that was one of his better games this year - probably only average for him in past years, but good to see nonetheless and one of the few positives from last night.

Yes Lawrence is by no means at his barnstorming best but you have to take your hat off to his attitude in both attack and defence. He just rolls his sleeves up and rips in 100% every week. The passes are starting to stick now and I recon it wont be long before the gaps start opening up for him. What has happened to the lovely angles he had going with Benji.

was good to see him score.
sent out a clear message to opponents, that he is still a force to be reckoned with.

ok, haven't heard anything about not touching the other team's player.. the rule seems very indecisive to me and just another one where it depends on how the refs interpret it.

You are talking about one of the professional footballer in the comp.
Before the Roosters game & the 2 games previously , he had been needled up before every game, after suffering with a severe virus & soldering on . He came back from
A hip injury , that told 5 people in the hospital to slam back into position , early than anyone who has had that rare injury before through sheer determination ( like that Great try he scored) & we have a keyboard typist wanting to drop Him to reserve grade , for who …

Great game Chris ....one of the reasons the team will fight their way back into contention
