the kid is confused. First his wing then his fullback then his halfback.
Sheens you GENIUS!!!!!
Let the kid organise the team and see how he goes. Surely better then fitzy!

Can't say. Will have to look at the replay in the morning.

Still suffering from red mist after the positional changes this evening

Can't see him playing next week as I think Lui is back from injury. Have heard a lot of wraps on Lazurus from people but I don't see him as NRL standard yet. Maybe an extended run in the NSW cup will help after all the football he has missed over the last couple of years. I have said before I don't see him as our 7 and the coach post match said he doesn't see him as a half.

Agree with you tigerdave.Lazurus tried hard and did some good things.Would liked to have seen him play at halfback.

Sheens is ruining this kids career. He did it to hanbury, nearly did it to harrison but he moved on. Lazarus you need to go to another club. After working so hard to get back from serious injury the kid was supposed to be getting the rewards now, instead it has sent him backwards.

Sheens has been guilty of this before Blake should ask for an immeadiate release to continue his career elswhere.

That would be a very good fit for him in my opinion. He should go, and if he does, i wish him all the success in the world.

Hey!!
Maybe we could get umm whatsisname…their 7.
You know that one that cant pass, kick or set anything up.

McCrone. Yeah he seems about our go.

I really feel for Blake in this circumstance. First and foremost it is great that he came back from all that adversity to make his NRL debut, so many never make it that far even without his injuries. It is ust a shame his development has been hampered by two season ending injuries. Moltzens injury came too soon as far as getting back into a rythym for Balke. A handfull of games back in the injuries would still be floating around as a risk factor in his mind.

Than to be shunted around the side so that not only it ruins any chance for Lazarus to play his natural game or settle in and not only that for the sides cohesion to be thrown out the window. Sigh indeed

yeah, its definitely sheensy's fault that blake lazarus is so out of depth in first grade it isn't funny

puhleeeeeeeeeease

How is hanbury's career ruined? He and Trimarchi both got glowing endorsements from sheens which led to Crusaders picking them up. There both playing well in super league.

he looked good last night he saved 2 tries with ankle taps, looked decent under the high ball
and has a great running game

Durung the warm up before the match, Ryan seriously injured what seemed to be his ankle. My guess is Lazarus' shift to fullback was only a last minute decision by Sheens. With Sheens' past efforts to manufacture young Blake into a fullback, i think that was his reason for the re-shuffling.
Personally i would have liked Lazarus left in the halves and faith shown by his coach in his natural position and not left on the wing in defence, Tuqiri shifted to fullback with Fitzhenry left on the wing. These positional changes woulld have seen pretty much most players being able to play to their natural abilities and possibly a better result than last night.

Lazarus may have a good future but for now he is only a third grader.

Pulls off a few good tackles but can"t see us winning many games with him in the side.Looking forward to not seeing him in the team sheet. :brick:

Interesting bit of info. Could explain also why Ryan seemed intent of finding support when he took the intercept. I know he is not the fastest, but when he gets in the clear, he normally goes for the tryline.
