Lee & JP finally lose the confidence of the Board??

So does anybody know what changes are going to bring us overnight success or nobody has any idea but will just continue to criticise for the sake of it ?
To use your own example. Maybe at the end of it all our coach (whoever that is after Benji is hooked) won’t need to sit there mulling over a decision between Aiden Sezer and Jack Cogger. Our coaches are fu$&ed from day dot. Benji wanted Munster or Moses, don’t forget that.

You've formed an opinion on the review before we even know what they find... Who knows it could be of great assistance to him
Have some faith
I’m not against the review, I just hope it’s a fair & honest review.
I’m told Tony Crawford is a straight shooter which can only be a good thing.

Hopefully wests ashfield have a good look in the mirror.

It's a tough one when wests ashfield have a majority vote on the WT board but wests ashfield are full of dead shits. So we are doomed regardless.

That’s great in theory, but not all of it is realistic.
Most of the coaches deserved to be sacked and without having 💯 knowledge of what McDonnell did or did not do for us in recent times, it would appear he needed to be sacked to.
The only coach who I believe deserved a bit longer than he was given is Madge.
You are crucifying Benji before giving him a chance.
We have no choice other than to promote and give roster and development spots to some of our talented up and comers before they are 💯 ready as they will leave us if we don’t.
As long as you understand that approach is doomed and by extension so is Benji’s coaching career. The fact we have no choices other than “accept being shit” is the whole reason a review is required.

C'mon give us a break? If Crawford or Barnier had qualifications and or experience in review work then it would have been put to the general public.
Barniers current role is as a consultant for the NSW government and he goes to underperforming hospitals or hospital departments and conducts reviews and oversees the implementation of the recommendations.

I'm sure it will be. It will then be up to the Holman Barnes Group on what is implemented and over what duration. At board level, I'm of the early opinion they will make change with optics high in their consideration.

I'm tipping David Gilbert (ex national cricketer & current sports administrator) comes on as one of the HBG directors onto the board (not sure who replacing) and 2 new independents (one male & one female as new NRL licence agreements clubs apparently require 33% female representation at board level, not sure what this means for current licence holders). Hoping John Coates is invited as an independent and chairman.

back to square 1 in ll this.its not fair(outside looking in )its a review by a fan that tips in money, maybe the most honest bloke on the planet, but it stinks

I’m confused at what many on here that claim they are sick of losing believe will turn the on field results around and become successful ASAP ?
Is it sacking Lee ?
Sacking the entire current board ?
Sacking Pascoe ?
Sack Lee, the entire board and Pascoe ?
Sacking Benji ?
Sacking Farah ?
Sacking Fulton ?
Sacking all of Benji, Farah and Fulton ?
Sign one or two marquee players ?
Sacking some of our top 30 ?
Sacking all of our top 30 ?
Not worrying about keeping our rising talent, just worry about our top 30 only ?
Sack everyone?
What is it that people want or expect will make the on field results much better ASAP ?
I’ll bite.
Lee is valuable in the right position. Can even remain Chairman if after the review he is voted in.
What we need ASAP is a Gag order on Lee.
Pascoe in my opinion has outlived his use. Sure he may be a scapegoat in this case but for me we’ve needed to upgrade him for a couple of years now.
Backing Benji. They made their bed see it out.
Same with Fulton. First time we’ve recruited a reputable recruitment manager. Last couple were assistant couches at their former clubs and a retired realestate agent.
Farahs devisive, but with his Economics degree and business acumen can be beneficial in the corporate side of the business.
Hopefully we get out and sign more marquee players, Api can’t do it on his own.
Need to run an evaluation over each and every player within the top 30.
Start with the following questions.
Is player X providing the best value for output possible for their salary.
Is player X someone you can see being in the side of a premiership winning team.
Is player X someone you can see improving the current side or mentoring players that you need in your premiership winning team.
How much improvement is their in player X?
Is player X performing to the best of their potential?

You would probably want to conduct a similar exercise with the prospective juniors we have although harder to forecast without having them experience senior football.

I don’t think anyone is saying ASAP their needs to be change. However there needs to an identifiable roadmap towards change actioned ASAP.

That’s not too unreasonable 👍

It’s true, I thought making Benji Marshal a coach here was one of the most disgraceful coaching appointments…probably ever.
Well, he gained some experience this year and a spoon, with a side that was far better than one only managing 4 wins from 24 starts.
As for the promotion of the kids…what a wonderful position to be in. I wonder how many of them will be stuck in park footy by 2027?

Just want to say I appreciate the honesty and depth of your replies to me and others regards this review. And understand the passion and interest in your promotion in it.....we all want a better performing club even though I don't agree to how it's been convened and for the destabilisation and negative promotion it has recently already created.

I just think it's pertinent and in the interests of all fans to know if you or your fellow organisers of the petition are still communicating with the media or whether you or fellow organisers have been communicating with groups who may wish to acquire or have greater involvement with the club?

I understand if you choose not to answer.

U reckon this has been orchestrated to get an already decided individual power in the board?

The endless speculation and innuendo that has emanated from the review in the media must end, for the sake of the club and coaches, plus possible recruits.
