Leichhardt and Cambo

Nah keep both, love Leichhardt especially.. Don't buy into that crap.. No home = no soul. It's unique and it's great…

I agree. Campbo and Leichhardt are different but special in their own right. ANZ is just an option we had to have I suppose. If an alternative to it was proposed I would be ok with it, but keep the other two.

I wouldn't want Parra Stadium. Hate the feeling we were tenants to another team. I know it's more perception than reality but still.

ANZ is the best located from a purely geographical pov but they need to make sure you can get a direct train from say Central or Strathfield. This changing at Lidcombe thing is a pain. Plus it's an awful ground to watch a game.

I thought many people here were favorable to the new parra stadium upgrade and moving there. I too am very much against a move there. What with eels leagues club next door? No thanks.

For all its faults it would be ANZ for me miles ahead of any tarted up parra stadium.

I wouldn't be surprised to see more of our home games moved to ANZ from next season maybe 2 at CSS, 2 at Leichhardt and the rest at ANZ.

CSS is a terrific ground. Except…who designed the seating in the Western Grandstand?
**It's almost impossible to get past patrons already seated without them having to stand up!! The space between rows of seats must be the minimum that is permissible.**

In that regard, CSS is light years behind SFS and ANZ as better options for member/fan comfort.

And, on a cold Monday night, say, having to travel to CSS from the inner-west to face that sort of set up, the option to watch it on Fox is a pretty hard one to ignore.

They did that in a redevelopment in 2009/10 I think from memory to increase the capacity of the Western Grandstand by about 600 seats…I agree it's a pain in the bum..literally

No way Geo. It's always been that way, been going there since 87\. Always was and always will be a terrible grand stand. Needs knocking down.

Either Leichardt or Campbelltown will never be the settlement for this club move on ! Long future probable Liverpool…medium future the New Stadium at Parramatta will be the home ground IMO .Short term if Balmain are bought out bye bye Leichardt 1 x game there every couple of years,4 games Campbelltown the rest at ANZ until the consortium is paid out and hopefully the New Parra Stadium is built ..never understand the it is there Stadium at Parramatta NEWS flash WE all own it the people of NSW .

I don't get it either. A brand new stadium in western Sydney and some don't want us to play there? Thankfully it looks like the managment see the need to play out of a stadium.

Id rather they play at lidcombe oval than play at parramatta stadium. The thought of anything to do with those eel grubs makes me sick in the stomach. Just a thought here, so after our home game anybody that feels like a beverage will march into parramatta leagues club and pump money into their club??

Go to a pub instead. Plenty around parra.
If that's the way our club is thinking then we need to just pack it up now and let someone else have our license.

Yeah, lets be 100% totally homeless….we own no area as it is and are known as roving nomads, lets be that annoying friend/rello that ends up staying on your couch for weeks

So what gain as a club do we get playing out of parramatta stadium as opposed to the 3 grounds we use now?

I'm saying make parra stadium home Ink. Stopping this nomad rubbish. Parramatta Eels don't own parra stadium.

Playing out of a new 35k stadium or playing out of three grounds. 1 that us ridiculously too big for club games and the other 2 that are very poor standard suburban grounds. You need someone to explain the advantages to you?

Ok settle down, do you need someone to explain to you what I said, you just told me the advantages for supporters. I'm asking what does the club gain?

Apologies if i was abrupt.
On a very basic level i think trying to attract more members would be easier with having great facilities. Same for widening our sponsoring base.
The team would be better off with one home ground rather than three atm. None of them feel like home, and even if one did, then we only play 4 games a year there.
Why do the Broncos play at suncorp? Why don't they play at 3 Qld cup venues? I can't beehive the opposition to it.

That's cool, but don't parramatta train at parramatta stadium? Would we share training facilities with them too? I can see your point in attracting sponsors and members but i just can't see how it would work sharing a ground and training facilities with them

And I agree with you I think we need to use one ground only and not 3 or 4 I'm just not sure if parramatta is the answer though… I thought I read something about 12 months ago in regards to having a ground and training facilities built in the Liverpool area, surely that would be a better option

Parra are building a training facility away from parra stadium and it looks like we're getting one at Liverpool. It would be a playing venue only.
Bit like now, how we train at concord but play elsewhere.

If someone was to build us a playing venue at Liverpool then that would be unreal.
