Let's assume Tui gets stuck in reggies

Tui did himself a massive disservice with the game he had yesterday in my opinion. It's a shame because I really like the guy but he isn't putting in 100%.

We can only assume atm that things just arent right with Tui….he has shown that he has that x factor needed to compete at NRL level, wether he is unfit physically,is lazy or in my opinion he has a niggling injury that he cant overcome...it wont matter if he plays his way out of this space or sits on the sidelines,he has to work hard at getting back to his best or he has let a lot of us Tui supporters down....I think he may come good, when that happens we will have to wait and see....he definately has to get his confidence back...

He’s had his chance and failed to grab it.
We have no specialist fullback and goal kicker and he can’t make it.

Tui hasn’t been that bad just average and you can’t have average players in the 1, 7,9 jerseys in the NRL.

I can’t see why some are surprised that he’s not up to first grade,
Tui is simply doing what he’s done ever since he came into the NRL.
Why do they think that the Warriors didn’t want him.

Never been a big fan of the guy. Lazy in defence…lazy attacker....average footballer (so shoot me).
If you want a FB, get Jonny Lomax from St Helens who would fit in perfectly to our side.
Otherwise, there is very few FB out there that you can go an grab although I do like the look of Tom Opacic or Jamayne Isaako....however I would pump for Jonny tbh.

What's his contract status Chip? We are looking to the UK atm apparently to fill a final spot or 2\. Not sure the aim is as high as a Lomax, but it may be.

Am very wary of the superleague. I remember superstars like Sam Tompkins, Joe Burgess and Jordan Rankin doing pretty average impressions of an NRL player.

Contract finishes end of 2019….the guy can is great at FB and can fill in at halves. I am just struggling to see who else you could get at FB. Even the young blokes there is nothing outstanding that i can see.

Sam Tomkins fair enough….Joe Burgess is a decent winger and Jordan Rankin was a bog average reserve grader in Oz and is still bog average. Liam Farrell from Wigan would be great in our team as would Liam Watkins from Leeds.
Most pommy forwards go pretty good back home.
Jack Walker from leeds is a young guy who looks okay also.

I don't think we have to assume he will be stuck in reggies.

Watched the ISP game today and he was hopeless.

Still can't see the so-called x factor he has.

Looks overweight and lazy. Time to hand in his bus ticket

Unfortunately, I agree. I am disappointed in Tui. He just doesn't look anything like he did when he had that break out year for the Warriors in 2016\. No speed, no power, no confidence. He is clearly overweight, and that knee might still be troubling him, but, to be honest, I'm starting to wonder if he will ever get in shape or get back to his earlier form. He's only 22 but how long do the Tigers wait?

Here is a video of Tui at his peak with the Warriors in 2016 …. at the 16 sec mark there is a frontal of him and what he looks like when in shape. There is little comparison to the one we saw yesterday in the ISP.

Interestingly enough he has obviously put in some really hard work in changing his kicking style now he must apply himself to get into shape.

The good thing is that he still has age on his side, at 23 you couldn’t write someone completely off, so let’s hope in a few months if the opportunity comes back he will be fitter, faster and ready to rumble.
