Liddle

Sorry, for some reason I think that the auto correct must have been on the grog (or maybe it was me ) on my above post. The end line in the first paragraph should have been"There should have been a refund from Taylor for the last off season"

For me ….. He looks to have the goods to develop into a good player.
All he needs is time and experience players and coach to guide him.

Exactly and he is not going to get that in reggies as some people suggest.

I agree with what you have written. It is meaningless to compare Liddle to other young hookers until we have a forward pack which goes forward.

It's funny, but that' line about not giving him some more time in the Reggies , is the exact same argument that was used whenever it was pointed out that Brooks and Moses weren't ready for first grade and should spend more time there.
I think that it has been shown that they should have never , not only been given the responsibilitythat they were given, , but shouldn't have even been in first grade so early , except maybe in a few selected games.
Much as I don't like Moses,I think that he was handled badly by the club at that time, and to a lesser extent so was Brooks, both needed more time in the lower grade on their defence. I hope that Liddle is handled better.
Most players that come into first grade , at some time in their early careers have spent some time back in reserves to work on rectifying problems in their game. , and it can only help their development. Hunt amd Milford are also a perfect examples ( there's plenty of them) both have been taken back for stints in the lower grades at times to work on parts of their game
.
