We got dominated for most of the half, had a few patches where we looked amazing. Obviously the left side looks great, the right side looks terrible. Thought the bench forwards added punch and Bunty and twal had great halves too.

Toa and Bula absolutely terrible halves. Bula is just such a lazy, casual player. Everything he does is half assed. Toa looks a reserve header.
Turuva been weak but Toa has offered absolutely no support whatsoever. We need Skelton at centre to give us some forward and an aerial threat.

Agree that Charlie Murray has looked good.
He’s bulked up since last year which appears to have helped him be much better in contract.
He has to be very close to our top 17.

Toa missed 5 tackles that half and offered zero support or protection for turuva and Bula. Literally just standing in the background watching.

Some players are busting their asses out there, Toa, and Bula, are most certainly not.

Attack does look a bit sloppy, but Doueihi and Luai have still only played a handful of games together

Realistically they should only be going right to set up going back left - that's where our strike is.

The breakdown isn’t there , I think it’s the edge defence limiting Bulas space every time he looks like he’s getting the ball . It’s the panthers. Not reserve grade roosters . A switched on panthers as well .
You want him to get this stuff out in the trial.
He needs to settle down in my opinion . He looks tense . And is playing that way .

Good first half. Alot of people have this Penrith team going very deep in the year and we held our own. Our left edge looks deadly, there's going to be alot of points scored this year by those boys.
Bunty looked good, hope Hunt performs similar
I thought Api looked a little sluggish at times particularly with his delivery from dummy half.
AD looks fit
Twal looked dynamic, bit of foot work and an offload.
Toa will be under pressure
Mav looked really good when he came on also.
