ExactlyCause our 2nd string team was playing another 2nd string team,
Thats why our attack was better,
Because their defence was worse.
DAH.
Api looked to fatigue very quickly as plenty of players do as they get older.I’m not worried about fullback.
Right centre though…AD may end up back out there.
If he stands deep enough, [like tonight] they won't get to him until it's too late. He’s taking the right options which is promising.
How will he go against the top flight guys putting much more pressure on him?
Will be an interesting watch.
Hope definitely threw his hat in the ring tonight, played well.Api looked to fatigue very quickly as plenty of players do as they get older.
There is no way we can play him for 80mins each week.
I’d be happy with Tristan Hope playing 15mins before and after halftime, he plays with high energy and hits hard in defence for a smaller man.
He looks a very strong front on defender, but I haven’t really seen his lateral defence tested. He has a long reach which certainly helps with lateral defence. Can he defend is what I want to know?

How far off is Haywood do you think Vicious?Api looked to fatigue very quickly as plenty of players do as they get older.

are you saying he is to slow ,and an arm grabberHe looks a very strong front on defender, but I haven’t really seen his lateral defence tested. He has a long reach which certainly helps with lateral defence.
I think he’s a must selection, his energy will be a bonus leading up to and after halftime and he’s definitely bulked up a bit from last season meaning he is now hitting much harder in defence.Hope definitely threw his hat in the ring tonight, played well.
With the 6 man bench it gives a bit more flexibility with Api. If we’re playing with momentum you probably get 80 out of him and can sit his replacement all game.I think he’s a must selection, his energy will be a bonus leading up to and after halftime and he’s definitely bulked up a bit from last season meaning he is now hitting much harder in defence.
Api cannot play more than 50 mate. He hasn’t been able to for years.Api looked to fatigue very quickly as plenty of players do as they get older.

No I’m saying if opponents look like beating him for speed he has the long levers to reel them in.are you saying he is to slow ,and an arm grabber
And dig into the defence as a ball player. Madden keeps getting whacked just as he passes, and the guys outside him are deep as you point out, and have more time. Doueihi takes those tackles because he's thinking run. That sums up their different strengths for me.Doueihi needs to take some lessons from Madden.
1) kick flatter and to vacant grass. Play the game in their half (said this last week]
2) stand the backline deeper when in attacking zone [said this last week also]
Did anyone notice when we stood deep [2nd half] Penrith run forward, but WT were too far away, SO THEY STOPPED, like rabbits in your headlights. So, with silky hands and feet from Andrews, we scored. Amazing! Rocket science at Leichhardt.
I reckon he could play 20-30min stints in NRL right now and he would not look out of place. How far off is Haywood do you think Vicious?
Tend to agree but we can’t be tolerating too many basic errors like giving away cheap 20m restarts. His game management needs to improve to hold the spot. And dig into the defence as a ball player. Doueihi definitely more proven in FG as a player overall and has to start as Jock may well shine every pre season but hasn't really killed it in multiple opportunities in prior seasons.
Benji will make sure of that…Makasinis try is all over then internet...its everywhere
He definitely seems more at home on the wing outside Taylan
Hope he can stay humble and grounded
The club has been very subtly (Maybe not so) placing him pretty prominently all over their Socials since Xmas. He’s gonna be a big deal.Makasinis try is all over then internet...its everywhere

I’m confident we are strong in the forwards this season.Terrell May
Kai Pearce Paul and
Royce Hunt
Will further strengthen this team.
