Live Game Discussion, VS Roosters - Round 23 *Spoilers*

I'm not exactly ashamed or embarrassed of the team, more myself.
We all know they're not that great and have been depleted by injuries. Was never really expecting the current wooden spooners to compete against a heavyweight team and can 💯 admit our issues - with our poor depth and recruitment - lies with the club's administrators.
I worry that we're going nowhere because too much emphasis is being placed on the halves, when our forward pack and outside backs aren't up to scratch either. Feel we need to address this by bringing in a couple of experienced forwards and at least one strike centre. But I believe we have found our team leaders in Hastings and Joffa.
Hopefully the decision with halves will take care of itself when our injured players return and our new recruits are here (especially with Korisau joining to add to our spine).

Know there's nothing to smile about but if there's anything positive that has come from this year it's that we're making some headway with our local juniors and finally have state of the art training facilities. Otherwise I agree it's yet another year of failure for us.
Hope Hastings is our main focus for now tbh.
Good on you Lauren , it’s great to see you are looking at the positive side , but all in all it was a bloody dismal effort from our blokes hopefully they throw in more young blokes over the next two weeks

I watched the first half and switched it over to a Kiss documentary on SBS, which was surprisingly interesting.

Glad I didn't get on the fourm because I would have been swearing and cussing and drinking too much out of exasperation. Instead I woke up with a clear head - very unusual for a Sunday for me.

Thanks for posting the Instagram of Tamou - love the way he gave a message to Cummins I have wanted to give him for years. Cummins is channelling Peter Dutton more and more

I just don’t know why tamou got sin binned in the first place? He didn’t seem to do to much that deserved that! Cummins is a scumbag and was just pissed at him from what tamou said to him in a previous play! Which I believe is unfair and buss for a ref to do. I feel bad for tamou but not for that low life Cummins, he deserves every thing he gets.

I agree I’m confused with what was the original sin binning for.

I think discussion about which players were less pathetic than others is now pointless .They were all so bad words can't describe if roosters didn't make 13 errors it would have been a hundred .Feel slightly sorry for Laurie who seems to care and its like he's fighting a one man battle
SHEENS come out of hiding your fans are in need of you to hold a press conference ITS AN EMERGENCY!

You will hear crickets except for the palaver like the post asking fans for the best player last night - they've all shut up shop for the year.
I know I am kidding myself but I hope the club has a management and board review sometime in the next year because there's bigger things that are wrong than the coach that was sacked. I know some are on the Sheens train but I think it's a joke that that is what was their answer.

It was the massive blowout that has been brewing for months. A bits and pieces team on the bottom of the ladder up against a team full of hard nosed quality players who have plenty to play for.

With the 17 players we turned out last night it was always going to be ugly. Also it has to be noted a few teams with way better rosters than us also got touched up.

If we are going to have any success in the next three years we need some real good recruitment and that’s highly unlikely , not through lack of effort, but players just will not sign on….and do you blame them.

Never thought I would say it but is it time to re brand and move?? I guess till the NRL address the distribution of talent nothing much will change and you will keep getting ugly score lines, especially at this time of the year

I think you will find Sheens has been involved with this current team , I’m not 100% but I think he would be at training and giving input to Noddy , I’d be very surprised if I’m wrong , also where was Sheens , Benji , Robbie yesterday , did they sense this coming and decided to stay away so not to be involved with the mess , ah well we should have a list of players who are leaving after next week for the last game , hope it is a good long list of names

I posted started of the year we'd be getting the spoon and I could see it all along. Our squad is young and by account compared to other teams lacking in size. We need some bigger bodies across the park.

Douehi has said that he wants to wait until after World Cup to talk contracts, well let him go, no loss, we have to do something left field so offer Munster an amount that he can’t refuse, start the rebuild there.
