Live Game Discussion
A few changes are required:
- Stains to the right wing, Nofoaluma out
It looks like Maumalo and Talau will be out for some time; in the meantime :
- Kepaoa to the left wing;
- To'a/Feledy to the right centre.

If Blore is out
- Bateman/Matamua -> 11
- Twal out

Kepoa's a centre and a beast at that.

I was in a great seat for the second half to see Douehei taking on the line.....twice! Two tries. The rest of the time you just wonder what's going through his head. Just take on the line and draw a man....it's worked before, why not try it again? It appears to me he's not too fond of the contact.
When Doueihi runs it with purpose, he does damage. He’s a big guy and seems strong.
The problem is, he thinks he is a ballplaying 5/8th. Should he run it more, he could be another Laurie Daley type. We need to fix his defence and push him out to the centres.

Yeah I know it’s tough ….. we all of the sudden have this great new side, our forward line is like no other our halves and back line should therefore be firing on all cilinders.
So what happend?

Expectations are always hard to manage and disappointed fans have their usual scapegoats.

Simple fact is that Titans were always going to be a very tough assignment for us …. they always are.
Why? …. because they have more speed, energy and talent in that side then us and “they have our number”.

Our squad played most of that game like they first met each other for the first time …. and guess what …. under actual playing conditions … they did.

What people need to do is is take a deep breath and try and understand that when you have high level of turnover in an organisation and at some time your management strategy takes a radical turn then you can not expect immediate improvement and often you’re just on trial and error fixing path.

We currently have a good core of players who will grow into their roles and with some astute further recruitment this side will move forward so but for goodness sake give the club and players support to achieve what we are all after.

My thoughts:

-Api playing 50mins is a joke. He looked unfit. Typical Tigers captain of recent years - disinterested.
-Talau (yes I know he was injured) and Kepaoa just aren't first graders
-Laurie is so bad in positioning in D and needs to actually catch high balls
-Structure and shape looked interesting and good be effective with some more practice.
-This loss wasn't on Brooks.

I like your thinking, but AJ no longer has the pace for wing.

He bulked up in the off season and it is too late now.

Feledy, like Bula, is not eligible, unfortunately.

Completely disagree with your thoughts on api. He was leading out line speed when he came on and had to tidy up tackles many times after half breaks.

Lol. Bit early to bring in a bloke that hasn't even been promoted to Flegg yet this year.

Tigers dominated nearly every stat but 14 errors and the majority of those dumb seemingly unforced. I don't understand what it is about the Titans for us, it's like some kind of unrecognised hoodoo team, we've beaten them I think 9 times out of the nearly 30 we've played against them.

didnt take us long to get our name back in the headlines. we are the laughing stock again and nrl 360 will be licking their lips after that joke of a performance

Only just finished watching a replay. I’m trying to stay positive but it’s hard. A loss is a loss if you throw it around or 5 hit up and bomb.

Still lack support play. Still let the ball bounce.

We won the rub of the refs calls and cheap position, big home crowd and Titans still shut everything down comfortably.

I know we’ll improve but a long road ahead
