Stats are hard without knowing how they come about. I mean, a fullback could pick up a loose ball on his own try line and have 6 injured players on the deck, so he strolls 100m for a try.

Then he can hit it up another 10 times for 4m each and end up with an average of around 13m for the game (140/11?).

I remember Woods used to make about half his pcms running backwards! 🤣

Yeah that’s very true mate ay stats can be pretty deceiving when u look at it that way. Ahaha good old Sharon so glad we dodged that bullet again 🤣🤣
 
Watching the game again on replay as I was live and a bit drunk. We were very unlucky not to score in the first 15 mins, let alone a few times in the FH. Could have changed the game. They scored try 1 against the run of play. Defense and forward play was first class till the first try. Api came on and our defense was inspired again after the second try, but they did well to get field position off the first try. End of first half we are still on top by far (bar points). A few dumb things but generally we are on top. Too many Twal crash plays and brooks / ice need to work on their combo. AD was given the mantle and did well (runs and kicks were effective and almost a 40/20). Our forwards generally dominated. Very unlucky with the ball / combos just clunky. Brooks 2 kicks against the grain were solid and real try scoring opps. Almost scored off AD kick 2 mins out from HT. Laurie was solid FH. We could have been up 18 points first half with the rub of the green. Follow on for 2nd half assessment if bored. Second half was 10 all though 😎
 
Ah bugger they score off a challenge on their line and a kick to start the 2nd half. I must have been sleeping on the hill. Laurie doesn’t challenge the kick and old mac scores. Game gone within 3 minutes of 2nd half. The lost challenge was a big call! …
 
Momentum lost for the start of H2, and then AD scores a great try within 7 minutes. Trying not to get distracted by the blonde in the box …

Forwards rolling, new guys charging, six more at 8 minutes in. Attacking raid, looking good and Brooks drops the ball. First real boo-boo for LB. Talau out and back line reshuffle.

Twal passes to Naden! It’s forward to Laurie 🥲 but we look good again. Running strong out of our own line! 14 mins in. Titans scrambling and out on their feet. Tino and fafita struggling on their own line

Brooks grubber and repeat set at 16 mins in and foran gone.

Brooks almost scores / and ice runs himself into touch! (Some would say brooks run didn’t help I don’t agree)

Laurie challenges a bomb and we get a penalty at 20 mins gone.

Kepoa drops it cold on the attack in great position. Fatigue looks likely.

Fumble on our line that should been called knock on. Up the field with speedsters at 22 mins.AD cut out and it’s touched by titans. Running out of time. Def on top still in the contest. Naden looks dangerous. AD kick and another drop out with brooks following through to secure. Short KO out on full. Last chance saloon. Twal too much ball close to the line! Short ball AD to Laurie and we are in -15 to go
 
Anyone having a coronary about not lapping the Titans in Rd 1
putting any stock in them putting 30 points on the Storm with players like
Harry Grant, Jahrome Hughes, Xavier Coates, Christian Welsh, Justin Olam, Tariq Sims....
out there for them?
