We were in a position to win by 50 and didn’t score other point. There the things that seperate the best times from the challengers from the also rans. Never put the cue in the rack.

Happy for the win but realistically we need to be better if we want to win 2 or 3 in a row.

I heard something on the radio tonight that something should be sorted out with Mbye's future in the next couple of weeks
I hope his brain explosion doesn't ruin the deal


Mbye went fine at 6 - he was less effective at 9. Having him at 6 gave Doueihi space. I thought AD had a good game and looked more dangerous than the past few weeks.

Mbye can play, we just have to find his best position. He's definitely overpaid but at the right price...

AD is a very slow 6 laterally. While he does some really good things, he crunches our backline in that position. A roaming centre is a perfect role for him

Good win for the team, I missed the first half completely but got to see the second. Seyfarth looked good - particularly his defence, he works hard around the middle and the second efforts paid off in forcing mistakes at critical moments. Mikaele again continued to make good ground up the middle, Doueihi dragged players with him on every run and Brooks even looked decent.

Laurie needs to continue to work on his timing in attack, there's still regular moments where backline movements result in him standing still and having to go to ground. Talau didn't impress and I didn't see the point of Madden when Simpkin could have been used more effectively in the middle to give Liddle a breather. Blore looked ok off the bench too.

Would love to see the team back this up next week although I think Simpkin should come onto the bench and likewise Stefano although who do you drop?
