I think my dogs are still scared, I screamed when MCK scored, lucky the neighbours didn’t ring the police. I think it wasn’t just that we won, I was so glad we dodged the stupid golden point rubbish

Jennings needs time in ISP or moved back to the wing as far as I am concerned. Haven’t been impressed with him at centre.

I had my first bet of the year on the game last night. $2.70 was too good to turn down and I thought we definitely had a chance.
I didn’t watch the game but wifey said they tackled well again. Madge has added to what Cleary started on our D.

I've read others saying the same, but i had to put my cents worth in - without naming names, I absolutely love the emotion shown by Maguire (Cheek's try for example)
I know everyone shows emotions differently, both internally and externally, but finally we have a Coach that "seems" to be emotionally involved with the club/team and their performance, and not just a win/loss job.
I know at the end of the day he a professional coach and will go wherever; Mags just seems to want it as bad as us poor long suffering supporters.

I feel Madge could create a bit of a dynasty with this club, be here for a decade. He is a very skilled coach, astute. I believe we are entering a period we have missed for so long and that’s being a consistent finals team. There will still be a fair turnover of players in the next 2 years but all for the better.

Lot of blown chances by both sides but the key for me was our defence in the 5 minutes before our first try

Great point Happy. I always felt we were pretty committed at that period. I was a little concerned that we might fall back to old habits and let the flood gates open, but the boys turned up constantly, had a little luck and frustrated the opposition. That's what good teams do. I think we might be almost heading towards being considered a good team rather than an also ran in the eyes of non supporters.
Just got home from Brissy. My best mate and I went to the game. Best game i've been to( we normally Lose) But being a Queensland Tigers fan. That was like a Grand Final win.:smiley: 😛artying_face: We celebrated till 4am and lost track at how many times we yelled "STFU" to all those Donkey fans at the game. So,so good.:+1:
