Exactly, what is his point.. our soft tries were conceded by south’s when the game was over, they were consolation tries. We conceded soft tries when the game was on the line, how can this not be obvious?

I handle getting beaten when we have less talent, but want to see some effort and some improvement.

There was no attitude or intent in defence and no attitude and intent in running it up the middle.

I really want to believe in Madge and what's happening at the club but he's making it really hard.

I think if he wants to keep his job, he needs to bute the bullet and make some hard decisions

Maguire might be a dead man walking but every player and coach I have ever heard with an ounce of knowledge will say good defence is an attitude and apart from Liddle Brooks and Laurie in the first half - the rest should hang their heads in shame. If the smallest men on the field can put their bodies on the line then their is no excuses for the rest who dogged it.

I can't see how Souths would had"clocked off". They need every point for the rest of season to finish third ahead of Parramatta and other teams vying for a top 4 spot. Also it's not in bennet's nature to allow his team to clock, It's a very bad habit that catches.

Am catching up watching the game and wow another poor defence display in the first half.
I know Tamou was for leadership but he is an older version of twal.
I have been all for Madge but after what i watched in the first half i think this season has to be the end. As a defensive coach it is just crap.
What does the club or players or coach do to get out of this horrendous season and actually win some games

I was proud how the boys defended in the second half for most part. Our commitment was there. However, where was this commitment in the first half. South’s didn’t take the throttle off, we switched on, they continually peppered our danger zone, trying to score. It was a committed effort.

I’m all for The Coach. There are quite a few players out there and sitting in the stands earning equivalent or more than the coach, with less than 50% of his commitment. Go Weststigers!

It’s all academic now but that time wasted between try confirmation and being reviewed could be important for a good team.

It's important for us as well because it gives the opposition less time to run up a score against us.

no resilience defensively, at all. we've had problems with our edges since the dawn of time, but at this point it is quite simply ridiculous. every single time a football team is in our 20 it's a matter of when, not if. Nofoaluma, Leilua, Roberts, M'Bye and Doueihi are all horrendous.

For God's sake Brooks, teach these clowns how to tackle.
