We all feel gutted right now, bulldogs turned up to play, Hopoate and few others players last game and they wanted it, Tigers well they are just clueless at the moment. Cini at fullback? Really? We all know how awful he was under the high ball last time he played. So many issues it’s hard to pin point and Mbye didn’t even play today. The spine today never stood up, Brooks madden Cini/nofa, Liddle no where good enough.

AND everyone bagged Mbye and screamed for the kids to have a go....how did that go today.??

If Mbye played it would have been upwards of 50 nil, with his turn-style defence

I got the impression from the press conference that Madge knows the writing is on the wall for him. I mean no one worth their salt is going to swallow the excuse that we're a young side blah blah blah...you only have to take a look at the Dogs lineup this arvo to know that if a team could turn up and play for 80 minutes, then the Dogs go home with another loss.

This season turned out to be more painful that I thought it would. Next season will have the team on life support from game 1.

My last posting for 2021- I would get the playing group to watch the Disability Olympics- just observe the 100% commitment they produce to be the best at their chosen discipline- If that does inspire the players just move them out. Excuses cannot be tolerated 2021 has been nothing more than woeful.

For me in short. There is a problem. I dont know if its Madge but that was the most gutless effort I have seen for a long time. Sure we got knocked around by injuries bu where was the "Ok lets stand up".

Zac Cini is not and never will be a first grader. End of story. Might be a nice guy and have a cute haircut.

Jacob Liddle is not a good player. Has some flash but no real game.

Madden is every young half coming through with our hopes and dreams. Not a great player.

Stefano is the single best player we have had since our inception. Throw the goddamn book at him before we worry about anyone else.

Can't agree with the description of Liddle. His effort is great, he carries our middle defence. If half the players did nearly as much work as him, we would be a lot better off. I am not saying he is a star, but he is the least of out worries. If you put him in some of the teams that are a bit light at hooker such as the roosters or manly, he would excel.

I am a bit lost. Given madges reputation I cannot understand how our team constantly looks unfit. Most of the team look like the walking dead after about 20 minutes.

Well they playing group did bag Madge for being to hard and he softened up for the girls....now you see the results...

Yes me too Sean O'Louglin reckoned at Wigan that Madge's pre season was physically the toughest he had ever been through.

He named all the injured players as an excuse… like we were any better with them in the side. Putting Tamou, Roberts, Garner in that list was beyond embarrassing too, making out like they would’ve helped.

Maguire is a fraud, like most of the other decision makers at this club.

we will have young players for many years

Only constant in our many years of mediocrity has been some of the board members.

Also, on this we turn profit garbage Pascoe holds up as his badge of honour - we get 100K a game to play at Stadium Australia grounds.... 800K a year. without that we lose money like most clubs. If he doesn't have a win KPI in there the board should go. he sold our rebuild and our personality for his KPI's.

Ditto, after 55 odd years of support, this mob, along with the state of the game of rugby league in general these days, have finally killed me off.

There are more important things in life than bloody rugby league and supporting such a perpetually demoralising team is not something I want to subject myself to any longer.

Bring on the cries of “good riddance, you’re not a real supporter blah blah” posts, I don’t care. Life is too short to stay in a perpetual state of negativity for however many years I have left on this earth. Thanks everyone it’s been a trip, but it’s onwards and upwards to a life without rugby league for me from now on.

Guess iam a masochist, I am so disappointed BUT also know as long as I live I will be lining up next year at Leichardt in expectation of new players and hope for my Tigers

Same. I’m gutted and need a few months away from the footy and surrounds, but I’ll be back rd1 believing as I have every year since 1969……just can’t help it….. hope springs eternal….
