A few are being a bit hash on Aloiai. He was one of our best if not out best forward out there tonight. 187m from 15 runs, 19 tackles 0 missed is huge from him. Every run he had, he ran with venom and anger. Hit solid in defence. We have a pack of enforcers, not just an enforcer. Good signs for the future. Definitely a great foundation to build off of for years to come.

Whilst I agree, Jennings made well over 100m and Thompson was butt ordinary

C’mon mate ..he had one bad half but you’d prefer Jennings ?

I have been very critical of Nofos defence but he had a great game tonight. Thompson was hopeless tonight. On form you would have the wingers as Nofo and Jennings ... who doesn’t make mistakes.

100%. He was safe as houses on the wing and worked well in defence too. Thompson even missed 1v1 tackles on the front line and also bombed, basically, a sitter from DH.

Relentless is the word I’d use . The breaks at the end were all benji being tired. I don’t think that happens as much with brooks back . Benji was all over the place , and I feel like it was more to do with JR just not being reliable anymore .

He goes back in field so many times as well, there was a few times where I thought Douehi would have take on the line when we ran the block play to the right . I get why , he’s small and if he isolated himself on the outside , he’s definitely going into touch . But the attack stifles because of this . The defence just hangs off. With Douehi they have to jam as he can beat someone 1v1 and has enough strength to tip toe the tight rope If the sideline if he gets isolated . Also there’s the ball skills .

The rain cost us mate . It was very wet. Running the ball back from a kickoff and dropping it cold to let a team score against you , btw the second time he’s done this from memory , that’s inexcusable. Especially when the only reason everyone wants him there is he’s safe and serviceable .
