Just an observation on the fullbacks tonight. In fairness I'm sure it was difficult conditions.

Fullback was the toughest position to play no doubt

Besides giving away 12 points, Thompson’s overall game was horrible

Good game by Benji, Walters was strong but looked gassed at times. Thommo Was shocking but let’s see how he goes next week he has poor handling needs work. Douehi was ok second half but quite the first. Nofo was great as usual. The brothers were also solid.
I think jray should be off the bench if he is going be in the team. We missed Brooks at times today.

Jrey wasn't amazing but not terrible and will be better next week. Jennings won't score tries - Corey will - off hte wing. Adam to full back, there is no question this will happen surely.

AD looked much better in the second half. You could see a little bit of why people like him despite the stats being average.

Ugly? I wouldn't say that. First game of the year, plenty of new faces, Brooks pulls out late, playing away. Held it together and scraped through. Good on 'em. Fantastic effort.

Benji and Nofa were great...but Big Tom Musgrove and Twal got the go forward for Benji to do his stuff. In fact the whole forward pack were very good

Needs to be Benji/Reynolds in the halves if the Tigers dont want another failed season.

JRey was punished but stood tall.

He will be better for the run.

Yes he was poor but he is still our 2nd best winger available

C’mon mate ..he had one bad half but you’d prefer Jennings ?

I have been very critical of Nofos defence but he had a great game tonight. Thompson was hopeless tonight. On form you would have the wingers as Nofo and Jennings ... who doesn’t make mistakes.

100%. He was safe as houses on the wing and worked well in defence too. Thompson even missed 1v1 tackles on the front line and also bombed, basically, a sitter from DH.

At the time I remembered to make a point of it because it killed any momentum we had completely and coincided with the Dragons nearly pulling it out of the fire. He’s useless...

Adam was solid in his opportunities with supporting 2nd row/centre/wings. As far as I and I’m sure few of the staff (knowing Corey coughed up 12 alone) go - there’s no room for both.
