I’m very, very nervous because we rarely win games we are supposed to.

We were outclassed but I was happy with our spine in attack Brooks, Douihei, Laurie. You would have to check the last time we had 3 props over 100m against the Eels. Much improved team this year.

We need a strike centre, winger as a matter of urgency. Kepoa and Talau are holding the team back. Talau looks injured.

I want Brooks to make it... but he spent the afternoon playing first receiver/distribution 10m away from the defensive line. Slimeys could have told the def to ignore him and slide one out for the afternoon. He kills centres.

He either runs all game, or passes all game. He doesnt seem to understand how to play one off the other.

We fought our way back into the match when I was expecting a 30+ thrashing at half time

Last 2 parra tries were fluky, a lot closer than scoreboard


We have had a brutal opening months draw. Realistically, parra, roosters and raiders are top 4

Our bench was good. Turned the tide back our way

Our next month will tell us more. Need to win 4 of next 6 or so.

Negatives:

Our back row is horrible. Twal is not a lock in today's game, garner is always a second too late and Lucy, whilst our only attacking threat, is still lazy defensively.

Talau is too slow for centre. Needs to be on the wing with AJ gone. Tapau strength is his strong kick return.

Our line speed in our defensive 20 is disgusting.

We lack pace still in key positions (Douihi, talau, AJ, liddle)
