Correct. We have weak edge defence solve this and we will win games. Only way to solve it is sign new players. Madge knows team has slowly been dismantled over past years.

We are not really trying to win now trust me. They have commuted to a rebuild and gave Madge the extension. It is usually timed with the coaches final year.

Cleary did big damage it’s not fixable in the short term.

My takeaways from today’s game.
- parra’s line speed in defence killed us all game, our line speed is terrible

- we looked like a different team when mbye was playing lock and Liddle was still at hooker. Pretty sure most if not all our points were scored when they were both on at the same time.

- Brooks will never be the halfback we need to lead a team around , manage a game and kick us to victory. How many times on last do we get tackled or ball goes to the wrong player. Where are you Brooks???? One good kick all game and we score a try. Ball lands 1m before the try line and gives the backs a chance. He just doesn’t have it in him.

- great performance by the by the boys today to make a game of it down 16- 0 then 24 -10.

we were our own worst enemies in defence today and on the end of some tough calls. not our day but to go close to a top 4 team with a side that is still gelling gives me confidence we'll be in the 8 by the end of the year. hopefully a confidence builder next week and we sort out our edges, I think we'll be ok.

Other than those kicks and his try I thought Doueihi was floundering as much as Brooks. His passes aren't as crisp and a bit on the slow side.
I honestly hate that we still don't know how to use Jimmy the Jet.
The team looks as trepid in attack as it does in defence.

But it shouldn’t be all on Doueihi in his 3rd ever game at 6
He’s playing with a half who’s played 152 games who can’t put up a nice bomb , can’t kick long or can’t get a repeat set ..
It’s a one man show ?
