He makes as many foolish errors as terrific plays - probably more. After so many years in this game, you'd think rocks or diamonds wouldn't come into the discussion with him. Apart from last week, I can't remember him ever steering a team to a win with a calm head. It's beyond a joke. Drop outs going through his legs, moving out of the defensive line, missing easy goals, throwing wild passes, running around confusing his own team mates, bombing long...all in a days play for this fool.

Why pick on Benji... Brooks had told everybody its his side.
You know him .... he was out there somewhere.

Because Brooks cops it week in week out and every one fawns over Marshall. It's not warranted and it's just plain stupid. He's bog average and should step aside. I'm sick to death of him leading us to anywhere outside of the 8. Whilst he's in the team, it's gonna happen again. He's no leader. He's no first grader.

And Benji wants to play next year, seriously, someone have the balls to tell him no, and while we are at it, tell him to go sit with ET and Packer next week. And Brooks, how long do we have to wait, how many excuses does he get, drop Benji and give Brooks next week to prove he should not get dropped as well. But we all know that won’t happen, Benji has never played reserve grade for WestsTigers, and that is why we never make the 8

Give Benji a decent 1/2 to Work with ...to take some of the load of him ! Benji is not the issue he also has to carry Brooks !

@Snake yep your comment made me see I've been a bit harsh on Benji, as Brooks is also a key playmaker but turns into Hollow Man for us.
Guess my point was more that we want to have faith in our team to turn things around yet their inability to put us on the front foot is a killer.

I feel with the new rules and speed of the game we could afford to rest Benji at times this year - and use him in certain games. But then you look at Brooks and it seems he's gone backwards - he's lost all confidence since Garner was switched to the other side.

It just sucks to see some improvement in the team but fans are forced to deal with the same old same old.....

Nobody mentions that Marshall has decided it better to stand in the oppositions attacking line instead of our defending line. Just another example of him never being held to account. What the hell is he doing? Brainless play that went a long way to costing the team the game in the end.

I don't pretend to know the rules but according to the Nine commentators the Tigers' players would be penalised for touching it in the ten - hence why they had to stand off. The fact the Titan's player appears to have taken it before the line explains why we couldn't effectively cover it up.
