They tried to give to us by missing conversions. Some things didn't go our way and the HIAs were disruptive but we just weren't good enough. 3 tries in 10 minutes hides the 70 minutes with no tries. Which is fine if the other mob don't score but the old story of average wingers, decent halves and old Roosters got us. 5 tries conceded, lucky to only lose by such a small margin.

Pretty good game of footy betwern two committed sides. Faced a bit of adversity but overall a good performance. No easy games in this competition and they turned up tonight.
The less said about refrereeing the better.

A try of a forward pass, poor last tackle options and not slotting the field goal with three to go was what did us in.

Nofoaluma was shown up being turned inside out off the forward pass. Back to Reggie's.

We were up against it. Not sure what the penalty count was and lost key players to hia. Think we were down two on bench. Too many reserve graders sue and goodinet. Plus terrible last tackle options the last 20.

Cant believe people are blaming Brooks or Godinet.
They may not have played to perfection BUT Nofa is just BAD…give him to the eels because he has defended like a wet towel for years.
Its been blamed on Moses and Kev but its always been Nofa.

Bye Felicia

I thought both Benji and Brooks last play options ended up costing us, they've both been praised in weeks gone by and deservedly so, but tonight both failed when it crunch time, the first with Benji's afterthought kick to Ponga on the short side and the second with Brooks dieing with it on the last.

What happened to Liddle. Passed Hia. Had the interchange card ready with 30 secs left in first half. And never sighted again.

Great Cleary, keep playing Godinet and especially that Zelezniak who never gets dropped no matter how bad he plays and we will end up being wooden spooner contenders again. do we pick players in form? i don't think so. nothing much has changed as there are still favourites.

Few blokes disappointed tonight

Nofoaluma / Godinet / Chee Kam

Chee Kam can be just pure lazy , the 3rd try is directly his fault as he can't even show enough effort to reach the next defender from marker so they can slide

Refs need to take their fair share of the blame , it was clearly two different rules for two different sides

And to management , lets take games where we are clearly still going to get home advantage crowd support

Obviously we need experienced players to close games out , lot of experience missing tonight with Rowdy ,Packer , Grub injured and ET sitting in the HIA

Take into consideration the Knights left 10 points out there were underwhelming goal kicking and the loss is far worse than the scoreboard says

Now we know why Nofoaluma has been playing ISP. He should go back there and work on his defence.

Didn't we already know and isn't that stating the obvious?

Probably but several here have been calling for his return. I think those calls will stop after that demonstration.

Losing Liddle, Benji and ET for long parts of the game really hurt us.

Refs were bad for both sides.

Was disappointing letting in 3 tries almost all looking identical out wide…

It’s hard to blame Nofa when in 2 of the tries we were short on numbers on the edge which was caused by lazy defenders in the middle.Easier to blame Eisenhuth who jumped out of the line to allow the hole for Pearce to stroll through. Even so when we get to the last few minutes in the lead and a kick into the in goal surely seals it a decision to get tackled sums up that he has a long way to go and has to wear a heap of the blame
