Contender for biggest blunder by a referee in 2014 and its going to be hard to beat all year.

Ref says "I didnt hear the half time siren". Disgraceful stuff. Worse than last week because this was the official time piece not just the time displayed on TV.
 
The second time against us in consecutive weeks that the refs have [This word has been automatically removed]ed up and allowed the opposition to play the ball after the siren….

Heads needs to roll, these guys should be forced to deny the try and lose their paychecks for the game and be punted for life from refereeing.

Still out there. Seumanufagai and Akauola have not been used yet which is a bonus.
 
You have to wonder how/why the video ref didnt intervene and call no try if the siren had sounded a tackle before. Common sense fails to prevail again in the NRL. The call by the video refs is just as stupid as the on-field refs' lapse.

that Try before halftime has given me a very nervous feeling now.. I don't want us to be the team that gives up the biggest ever lead … we got this we have played so well we can't let this beat us!

We can't lose. The Sea Eagles are out on their feet, we have two fresh men on the bench, up by 20, Leichhardt Oval. You couldn't be in a worse position in RL history than the one that Manly are in right now. If they beat us from here it will be hands down the greatest comeback in Australian sporting history.
 
As long as we maintain possession and keep up the intensity, we'll win this. I suspect Manly will chance their arm and throw the ball around a bit in this half. Could prove troublesome for us or it could bring them completely undone.

The way we respond will show where we are at with our attitude and mental toughness thats for sure.

I'd love to keep Manly scoreless in the 2nd half.

Wish i could have your confidence Mac….I've seen this team pee up big leads against the wall over the years and lose games we never should have..
 
We're kicking off so we need a good solid defensive set with no penalties.
