Irrespective of the no try and whatever is said about the refs so far, the titans look hungry and are doing everything faster. No second phase play to speak of so far either.

Hope we can put some points on the board in the second half. We really had very little opportunity to attack in the first half, and I think the Simona try should have been awarded.

There aren't many positives today, but Brooks has looked sharp and Lawrence has looked ok too. We just have not been able to build any pressure and our forwards have not been able to dominate as they have in previous weeks. I'd like to see the possession swing around to our favor, but it's going to take a huge effort to wrestle the momentum back in this game.

Not to mention Tapau would have scored if Myles hadn't held him back.

As the game transpired we got very little advantage out of him going to the bin - we only touched the ball once more after the Simona disallowed try.

Those lambasting our performance are indulging in a bit of hyperbole imo.

One freak chargedown try and some lazy defense in the opening minutes is why we are down by 16 points. Aside from that our goal line defense has been good.

Titans have rattled us by playing with a fair bit of niggle. I've lost count of the number of times their markers have made tackles from offside positions.

One bright spot is that Books has looked pretty good and Lawrence has looked very dangerous in attack.

I'm not writing us off. 16 points is a big ask, but provided the heads haven't dropped I think it is retrievable.

We seem to have a massive advantage in the centres with Taylor defending in the centres

We just need to play smart and win the forward battle , we are getting spanked in the forwards imo
