Benji was really bad, made some terrible mistakes, what chance he gets dropped, none I say


He did some really good things. His high kicks were great. Got the ball back for us a number of times when it counted. He would still be in my team. The team as a whole goes better when he is on the field at the moment.

Some good spiral bombs, how many of his passes hit the ground, went behind the player. He missed 6 tackles, gave the ball back on zero tackle on our try line.
We had 4 times as many tackles in the opposition 20 than souths and couldn’t score.
He is supposed to be the leader and have a calming effect, he does none of that

I met him up in Brisbane , he’s a giant up close .
Very quiet and humble ..

@851 We virtually always see eye to eye and I maintain that J. Rey can have a hugely positive impact on the team in future but it’s right now when we need to grind out wins that his age and status at the club kinda just gives him the edge.. see who’s named next week

He’s not Teflon. We know he has mistakes. No one is happy about them. But his good far outweighs the bad at the moment. Until there is someone better, he’ll be in the team.

Oh spare me, he set up both tries Hobbo... Admittedly he wasn't perfect but he played his part in the win, whether you like it or not.

Benji will never get dropped no matter how bad he plays, that is my beef, no accountability.
I mean even Farah got left off for a long time today, but Benji never feels the wraith of his bad performances, the media gloss over it
