**Live game thread** Us vs the Storm

If brooks and Moses practice field goals, we were done and win. The fact that a crap penalty Tri and a head high on teddy following a try was all fine was what cost us, and I am filthy.

We lost that game because of the negative 5th tackle kicking options Moses was instructed to carry out. Just once at least try sending the ball right through the backs on the last tackle. We now have a winger who adds an element of surprise and speed and this open play on the last tackle will bring the team points.

I'm pleased you mentioned this issue. Negative play deserves to be punished.

$600,000 halves kick that blind folded

We had a full set on their line … And Panicked ...AGAIN !
Where was the leadership from our $900k origin star ????

As the saying goes .. Garbage in .. Garbage out !

exactly….. someone panicked.

It was a halves job to be in position the entire set, yet someone elses to choose the moment. Was it second tackle? that defensive line should have been tested for nerves first. They would all have had one eye on the possible kicker, we had the advantage.

Not Robbies fault for the loss.

Disappointed but I'm liking a lot of what I'm seeing

You watching the game at Hooters? cause there is no way you are talking about this toxic side

Felise was good, Addo Carr was good some of the others did some good stuff some didn't, considering the players we had out I expected us to lose by more than 1.

yeah it certainly could be a lot worse, Simona, Woods, Sue out and against the Storm, who yes had an off day, but they are no slouches, only just beat us….......and that was on the back of 2 of their tries off forward passes and one of ours disallowed which could be argued was a flat ball.

5 losses and we've had opportunities to win them all...........a far cry from the previous years under Potter and Sheen's last year

Farah can kick field goals , he's our most experienced player , he should've taken control .
We panicked on tackle 2 …
Our halves are garbage .

We lost this game because Moses went for the glory on tackle 2 instead of being patient and taking it on tackle 4 or 5\. I'd like him and his mate Brooks to JUST ONCE win us a game. They have zero game management, 14 other nrl teams would've beaten the Storm today.

Nothing wrong with taking the shot on the first. If you're in position, why stuff around for 3 or 4 tackles?

We didnt panic, we did everything right leading up to moses fluffing the easiest of field goals. We were in it, we had it, we fluffed it.

Positive debuts by JJ Felise and Edwards, JAC did not have many opportunities, but didn't make many mistakes

I actually thought Brooks was good today. It's like they are both incapable of having a good game at the same time.

He was really good. Moses had a tonne of effort but he was poor. I agree that they don't both play well at the same time.

It's obvious , the closer you get the more you're likely to slot a goal :unamused:

Especially with a wet ball !
