A chip n chaseHe was bad today I can’t sugar coat that.
But creating something requires someone competent to finish it too. It was a rubbish performance from Brooks and ‘his team’
We did well against the competition leaders !Newcastle were really poor today, how was it that they couldn't put 60 on us.
The coach yes, I don’t get the CEO though based on football performances. Based on that shouldn’t we be sacking Sheens too despite only being two games into the season?Am I the only one who wants Pascoe gone along with Maguire. The CEO has to be accountable after years of woeful performances. Look at how Canterbury and Newcastle have improved their rosters after hitting rock bottom. We continue to bounce along the bottom. We should have gone for Gould as much as I dislike him.
I hope they don’t need social media to tell them that was plain unacceptable. The desire in that team is just non-existent. Quick trip up to Newy to interrupt their Instagram life.I am still trying to piece together how a team can fold this early in a season , and so far I am reluctant to blame the coach , but geez if the board are not reading the fans concerns all across social media and this forum then what hope do we have for the rest of the season. I am thinking that there must be fuse being lit to put a rocket up somewhere 😡
CEO should be setting standards top down. Our standards are at an all time low.The coach yes, I don’t get the CEO though based on football performances. Based on that shouldn’t we be sacking Sheens too despite only being two games into the season?
Yes, the CEO doesn't coach but is responsible for everything that happens at the club. Keeping Maguire falls to Pascoe, poor recruitment falls to Pascoe, poor club culture falls to Pascoe. Our financial perfromance has been OK and we have good sponsorship in place. I give Pascoe kudos for that but our overall performance as a sporting club has been very poor under Pascoe's watch, not to mention the Farah fiasco. Sheens has been here long enough this time to be in the firing line. The coach yes, I don’t get the CEO though based on football performances. I’m obviously weird but I thought there was effort for the whole game. We just sucked. If I compared to the last game against the dogs last year what hurt the most was the complete lack of effort which I see different so far this year. But the reality is we were inept. We tried but we’re park footy level.I went and enjoyed a nice drive in the counrty today rather then putting myself through the misery of watching a team that looks like it has no heart.
I didn't even watch the start of the game.
Plus it's a lot safer for the TV if I'm not watching it.
This.... isn't serious, right? 😂Yeah I got ya. Brooks was probably shaking his head because we should have been lining up a kick at goal. Incompetent players all around him it’s no surprise he sinks to their level.
And we’re not copping millions. Go figure. This thread needs a warning ⚠️
😂
I wish the team was as passionate as some of you ppl
You see any competent players today?This.... isn't serious, right? 😂
I get it but the standard the CEO is setting is not of mediocrity. He’s worked on getting the COE over the line, turned the clubs finances around to the point we’re we are now heavily investing in the football department for both NRL level and pathways. His job isn’t to get the team playing good footy, that’s the football departments job.CEO should be setting standards top down. Our standards are at an all time low.
