I Can guarantee you he has. I commend Madge, did a hell of a job, I respect him immensely. The boys aren't feeling it though, endemic of our club but we need to go keep going. Players and coaches come and go.. The club is forever 🙌

I think the effort was there it was just horrendous execution at times and a couple of dud calls. He’s in trouble but he’ll survive another week.
Truth is that without AD, Hastings the Jet and Ken we loose A lot of strike, guys that are the boys Madge bought in .

There was allot to like tonight. It was a decent game from both teams for 60 minutes and our defence excellent and we made a few breaks. And also last week was just an aberration.

The biggest disappointment is this continued flatness in attack, not deep enough not enough bodies in motion.

We have to stay the course with this because there is hope. Brooks was good.

Everyone is down on confidence so any sackings now and we fall apart.

Seeing Tamou trying to lift the boys before HT was the best moment of the game, showed some pride. That’s not a group that’s tanking.

I don’t believe he has. We wouldn’t have been in positions to win 2 of the first 3 games if he did. They’d be tanking.

I’m really down on the three Instagram models from the elevator. They were our worst imo
Im not accusing Laurie of anything, but to play that bad, not only to bomb the try he did, but to back out of contesting bombs, going up half an hour early for others and costing the team a try. Let’s just say Tim Simona was never that obvious. There’s having a shocker, and theres that kind of shocker. I’ll leave it at that.

I actually thought their were a heap of positives on an individual basis and a team basis last night and that stats and the play showed we won everywhere but on the scoreboard. I think you can say Madge coached well - we only scored 2 tries but we bombed 2 more, actually scored 1 more and it just wasnt given and another where player was sin binned we imo score if he gets up in time. I dont think we have ever missed less tackles in a game, we made 200 meters more and dominated whats a large pack and we did all that with the most injury ravaged squad ive ever seen in round 3 - think we had 19 of our top 30 available last night and then lost one in the game abd injuries mean we played the last 15 mins without any interchanges. Good coaching, good effort just poor play from Laurie in particular was the difference and his effort i can fault - whatever his issue he needs to deal with it and im not sure if its personal or injury or what

You just blatantly did

The quality of this game was disgraceful, just look at the terrible play and drop ball from both sides in the last 15 mins, Harris tevita gave us 4 late chances to stay in the game that’s how bad they were, and we were even worse. Only good the out of last night was madden tried hard, he is limited but always tries, and toa, who actually looked a class above all of our other backs in terms of commitment and calmness.

Warriors won’t fair much better than us this year. Bottom 4 for them too.

was at the game, here's a few thoughts.

- we defended well. we actually won the collision the majority of the night and won the field position battle. Garner gave us some much needed steel on the right edge. Gildart got his hands dirty. the Warriors made some errors on our line but we mitigated every challenge they threw at us.

- the end to our sets is diabolical. the midfield bomb might be the worst kicking tactic I've ever seen. if we had a spine that could find the turf and put teams into corners we'd win more than we'd lose, but it never seems to change.

- left edge was classy in attack. Gildart's evasiveness and awareness in attack is impressive. To'a was just about our best. yes he dropped the ball over the line but he's certainly not to blame.

- Laurie, Simpkin and Peachey were poor. Joffa and Musgrove bent the line through the middle. I actually thought Nofo was decent too apart from the Aitken try.

- Luke Brooks... play him at 6 these next few weeks until Hastings comes back. unlocked Gildart down the left edge a couple times and put in two grubbers that should've been tries. what he shouldn't be doing is finishing our sets or controlling the team with 10 to go because he can't do either. give Madden a crack there, he was excellent and built a lot of pressure. we have to change something.

- bench rotation is diabolical. it's monotonous and as far away from dynamic as we've ever seen. it was clear to everyone that Liddle was killing them through the middle, yet we still bring on Simpkin with 20 to go as I'm sure the Warriors planned for. Twal coming on in the 50th minute? ridiculous

that was our last chance to take home two points for another month. Gold Coast, Cronulla, Parramatta and Souths. if Madge is still in the box after those games I'll sleep on the moon.

Agree with your summation of the game, Madden has played very few games and is very young, and as i have said previously he is one of the very few in the side with attacking skills. He will progress into a top half, we must keep him!

he has shown clear improvement every year. if he can play around 8-10 games at least this year I think he'll be ready for a full season come 2023.

6. Doueihi
7. Madden
13. Hastings
