Did you watch Madges presser?
He spoke about the work within the community were doing off field.
Great to see.

He looked happy too, was good to see.
Also said he didn't do much at half time , he let the players do the talking.

I hope this is a turning point and we start to really deliver on field like we know we can.
We have a hard few weeks ahead so I just HOPE the guys can turn up and have a go, leave it all on the field.

Yeah I watched that he was very considered in what he said so it shows he knew it was important.

First presser I’ve seen where he wasn’t looking bleary eyed, we checked plenty of boxes last night I’d say.

And all round pretty polished performance. Stoked to see the pack all crack over 100 metres, and Mikaele off the bench was phenomenal. 102 metres in 24 minutes, that's the kind of impact you want from a player like him.

Backline was smooth in attack in the opposition 20, forwards did the dirty work to get us there.

Let's hope we break the win/loss alternating curse we seem to have. If we can best the Panthers next week I'll be amazed, but if we play like we did this week it'll be close. Still need to learn to not take our foot off the gas.

Our best games were agqinst two best games who were heavily depleted sides and souths

We have the potential but we need to maintain effort.

I’m not a tigers fan, but damn, this is the best they have played in a long time. Brooks’ kicking game has been superb and Douehi is carving them up. Good to see them getting up quickly from the defensive line too rather than waiting for the opposition to come to them.

Your last sentence was spot on! That was always our big weakness. Also the backs standing deeper and running on to the ball at speed.
