Yeah, Brooks is an imbecile but AD is just as bad. He wasn't making the tackle on Penisini, he was patting him on the back. Same result as playing piggy in the middle last try. They're both shit.

I'll tell you why. He can defend and he can play. His kicking game was really good out there. His defense was good. He busts his gut as well. He runs back to actually defuse that kick and they do attack down AD's and Hastings side because they are poor defenders,

It's like he plays well until there is a key moment in the game and then he just comes up with dumb decisions.

He can play? Really?? 'cause plenty out there (me included) think he can't. As a half back, if you don't make the key plays, time and time again, then it's time to think if you should be wearing or playing with a 7 on your shirt.

Brooks ran back and competed and then he took a swing at the ball when he should have fallen on it.

He also went for that play which was clearly planned but he did it at the wrong time.

He did everything right but those critical errors at critical times are unacceptable.

Did you see Hastings kick for Laurie to score. He comes up with good plays at the right time. Sure he needs to work on his defense but you can't keep justifying Brooks brain explosions.

I saw Hastings kick nothing last week and the ball fell on the ground for the
defence to pick it up... That was the "Right Play"?
Also saw the best 7 in the game not find touch the other night.

No one justifys Brooks shockers - He's the most over criticised half in the game.....
I watched him win the Souths game with an intercept try, And field goal...
And still got bagged here for the entire next week.

He can't win....
He's far from perfect, It's funny - He's literally the only Half in the game that gets criticised for his errors.
