Yep. I'm finding myself more and more engaged with US sports because they are actually run by professionals. Losing interest in the NRL more and more every year.

We look so much better when Moses runs the ball. I honestly think Brooks needs to go back to State cup. I hope JT doesn't persist if form doesn't warrant it.

Three most disappointing things:

Scrum lost against feed 10 out
Pat dropping the intercept
But most of all Robbie kicking it dead at a critical time of the game!

I know young players make silly mistakes, but I live in Newcastle and to listen to them gloating when they played poorly is hard to take!!

Lots of positives today. defence was good. attack was ok. We will look a lot better when simona is back. Got to say second row is a bit of a dissapointment at the moment. defence good but no strike power. moses was good and nofo back. still gutted we lost but that is the structured game we have to play. once we master it this team will be unstoppable.

Not sure I share your optimism mate, saw a lot more negatives than positives.
I don't think it's the structure we have to play either. Look at the Warriors. Sure they haven't won a premiership playing like that, but they've gone a lot closer than we have in recent years. It's a different game to 2005, sure, but second phase and unstructured play seems to undo just about every defensive structure going around at the moment.
I don't think our team is too far off the Warriors in terms of off-the-cuff potential either.

don''t ever want to go back to that benji touch footy stuff again, proven it does not win comps. happy to grind with the two most youngest and inexperienced halves in the game. Its called investment for the future.

It won us a comp in 2005, and got us close for a few years around 2010\. It may not win us won now, but it would certainly build our profile, improve player (and fan and sponsor) confidence and return some sort of identity to the team. The squad that we have would be much more suited to it as well.

Agree , and ATM we'd have nothing to lose . If hitting it up one out , putting up a worthless Bomb , then rinse and repeat is playing to a structure ….???

How in the Hell is it racist? I also think he's got an ugly head on him, does that make me racist? I doubt it…..one of my very good mates is Black African American.
Doesn't matter what colour we are there are ugly in every colour.
He looks like a typical inmate at Silverwater Jail, from the Days I did a few jobs there back in the Day
