Despite having a strong game in attack Nofo still left his winger unmarked plenty of times in ISP - although I think I'd still take him over MWZ who offers consistency over flair … except when he dropped the ball with the line wide open today.

Id punt Godinet for killer. Not pointing the finger at him, but his dumb kick was the moment we took the foot off the throat. We stopped playing at that point. Bring McIlwrick back.

Agree it was a bad play, but thought he had his best game and showed a bit of zip from dummy half for a change. Service was also much better, but so was killer's in isp. Good headache to have.

That kick is a bit softer and we score a try. Had his best game by far today and looked dangerous in attack. Can’t wait for Liddle to be fit and play 80 minutes. Future rep player I reckon.

Godinet definably had a good game did run out off gas the last 15 but credit to him good game, I think he offers that bit more than Mcllwick .

This is exactly the thing. Looking at our draw I would have been happy with 1 or 2 wins from the first 5 games we have 3/4, yep we have things to work on but I would be worried if you looked perfect four weeks into the comp.

And that’s a very good thing.
We did not want to go against Melbourne on a high.
Our forwards and overall defence just switched off …... and that’s definitely not the menu the coaches have set out for this game.
So yes I am pleased that it turned out the way it has.
Really big test next week.
Melbourne after a bad loss will be hard to overcome but if we do ..... well we may I say we could very well be a real deal this year.

I think Brooks is worst case scenario. Maloney, A. Reynolds, Green, Pearce, Bird and Moylan would all be in front of him, I'd assume.

Yes I agree ….. he needs to take little steps to improvement each game .... and Benji will give him guidance and support he needs.
But talking him up as a SOO candidate at this stage of his development is just plain silly and counterproductive.

We are lucky to have 3 very good options for hooking position ….. and possibly Reynolds when he gets fit. Taylor also to come back. Boy do we have depth this year.

I think he deserves to at least be in the frame but, Fittler and Sterling pick the team. And they both seem to be Moses' biggest fans.
