**Live game thread**

The first 10 was diabolically diabolical. Farcical.

After that, it was pretty fair by most players.

Lost their waya little in the 2nd half, but got back on track.

The 21 point win makes it a 42 point F/A differential, so we go ahead of the Knights on F/A too (albeit marginally).

Tui stepped up to the mark today and showed us some glimpses of what we can expect next year. Team went cold in the second half which has been their undoing for the entire season. Does Woodsy want to stay?

Another inspirational captain's knock, 159 m, 24 tackles 1 missed tackles, 2 offloads for great line breaks,
1st bombed by Lalohea, much better effort from Brooks from 2nd.
We again managed to make few errors and panicked.
Our last tackle option was awful. Lalohea and Naiqama - rocks and diamonds. Suli was not given any ball in the 2nd half. Nofoaluma tried hard as always.
Zelezniak is Malone V2.0, need a better option on the wing.
Good game by Marsters, Eisenhuth, Twal, and Liddle.
Great win against all odds, 90% of fans on this forum predicted 20+ loss :crazy
It makes this win even sweater

4 competition points with this win, when you factor in our bye next week.

Good win under circumstances.
Once again clocked off for about 25 minutes of 2nd half so concentration is still big issue for the players and coach to fix.
Woods, Brooks were best for me. Lolo, Liddle, Suli, Naiquama, Marsters had good moments.
The rest were solid.
Nothing to get too excited over but a nice win for the team, Coach and the fans.

I thought MWZ had a good game, way better than Malone had ever played. Naiqama played great apart from that first pass, Woodsy=exceptional and Brookes & Lolohea finally clicked into gear but….. this was against the Knights

I thought Suli was destined for MotM at halftime. Good to see what he can do with some space.

Funny that as soon as Lovett gets dropped we win, Coincidence I think not. Hopefully Cleary has realised he has been making a mistake and we wont see Lovett again.

Not sure how the knights got away with that try given the horrible play the ball.

That was disgraceful. The PTB area is just a massive dog's breakfast in the NRL these days. Yet the refs will pick one out of the blue to penalize when it suits.

Woods, Brooks, Suli, Twal, LoLo and Kev have been outstanding today. Need to finish this off.

You must be joking about Kevie he is a liability

He was good today for a stand in fullback. Bombed a try and dropped a kick but he scored a try and ran for 200 metres what more do u expect.
You must be watching a different game.

Yeah he played well today. Some people lack the ability to be objective. lol

Glad of the win finally.

Someone said it was only Newcastle - however they have been giving us heaps over the last couple of years and have also been playing well over the past 2-3 weeks.

I wouldn't take it as a totally easybeat win - will gives the boys a bit of confidence though.

Yes I think Lovett was the common denominator - Lovett out, we win, Simples.

Yeah bottom of the ladder or not, we've been on a large downward spiral, and the Knights were actually favourites to win for the first (and possibly last) time this season. Was good to get the win, and a solid one at that.

The boys will be enjoying this win today and tonight….we should do the same

The rest of the season starts tomorrow, back to normal programming more than likely
