**Live Game Thread**

Must be the first game this year where there hasn’t been any whinging about the refs. I guess when you lead the penalty count 6-0, it’s a little hard to do.

After that it was 8-2 to the Dragons

But yeah , we only had ourselves to blame

Was Ivan about to storm out and stopped himself ??

Yeah I’d say so !

Benji is full of crap !

The only time Benji isn't full of crap is when he sees Luciano Luilea running at him

Benji : we owe it to our fans to put in a good performance at Campbelltown

Hobbo: Benji needs to piss off and retire !

I'm pretty sure I saw McInnes drop the ball after he was tackled. Nope, play on though…

Yeah, he was carrying it on the right when tackled and grabbed it with his left off the ground. Still, I was more concerned with Sims in the line next to the ref and taking off before the ball cleared the ruck to nab Brooks on the last tackle of our first set.

For me , massive call not starting with Rowdy

We were playing crash ball footy and the best in our side at running a great line at speed was sitting on the bench

Any thoughts of re-signing the elder statesmen has to be seriously rethought about after tonight

All that experience and no control , no patience , no building pressure

Brooks didn’t help by doing a disappearing act whenever it came to the 5th.
Shambles.

Yeah he was hiding one pass off the ruck. The dummy half couldn't find him

He’s the halfback - he should make sure gets in a position to take the ball and demand it.
Remember him saying it was his team?

I remember a play in the 2nd half, he was one pass off the ruck and screaming for the ball. Robbie picked the ball up, went himself on the other side of the ruck. Luke's head just dropped. I am not sure how he gets that ball when the dummy half has decided he is the saviour & it is up to him to win the game for the team.

Every good hooker has a go himself.

We could always get McIllweick back to play the shovel.

It's do predictable and easy to read if the hooker is just a passenger.

The whole team was off.
Easy to pick out the player you like to blame the most today and find fault. They were pretty much all below average.
Throw Ivan in with that too.

That was a good old fashioned choke. We had enough quality ball to score 30 in the first 25 minutes and dropped the ball every time. Brooks was terrible they relied on him with Farah shovelling out of dummy half and he buckled. Our entire spine was off Farah, Brooks, Marshall, Mbye.

Forwards were really not impactful and no one hit the line hard. We are where we deserve to be that’s outside the finals looking in.

You guys expect a lot.
Realistic results this year with what we have available.
Settle down.
Improved roster next year and we make the eight.

Do you think tonight's performance was acceptable against a very out of sorts Dragons team that last placed Parramatta put 40 points on?

Lets be honest, we dont deserve to be in the finals…. we are where we deserve to be. Scraping into the semis seems to be the be and end all of most of the fans, but I want to be a real contender. Being bundled out in the first finals game to me is as bad as coming last.

We knew months ago were werent contenders, whats with all the vitriol tonight? Were you all delusional enough to think we were a chance of winning it if we managed to win tonight...

Absolutely correct B & W - was at the game and came back to read through these posts and cannot believe some of the things people are saying.

Delusional is very kind. I am hoping that it is all just emotional.

That was before Farah came and passes to his mate Benji 75% of the time.

Spot on. The whole team was pathetic in a do-or-die game, that was the most disappointing thing.
People blaming MCK for the miss on Leilua, fair enough it was à dismal missed tackle but for the most part he has played bloody well this season. Same goes for Marsters, he was off his game last night but has been magnificent for the most part this year. Lawrence also.
The whole team is at fault for that performance, not just individuals.

Disgusting how in 3 huge games lately (Titans at LO with the much hyped addition of Robbie and Mbye, Bulldogs when we still had a massive chance of making the finals and last night) our team just totally capitulated under the pressure, that is inexcusable and most probably an indication of a deep-rooted deficiency in our whole club. Absolutely no idea how that sort of thing can be fixed.

The Garner PTB penalty was a bad one, 99 times out of 100 that would be a penalty against the marker for "crowding" or whatever BS name they call it these days.
WT are the 1%er club: the 1 time out of 100 it is called different than the norm is quite often against us. Not an excuse, just an observation.
