Liverpool's a great idea if you fancy getting mugged after the game.

Gotta re-develop Leichhardt or Campbelltown if we're serious about a home ground. Liverpool is no- mans land when it comes to our fan base

As long standing Tigers Member and resident of Liverpool, I take exception to your pig-ignorant comments about the city of Liverpool. As one of the fastest growing LGAs in NSW, including the proposed Aerotropolis and associated infrastructure and employment through the Badgery's Creek Airport, a new campus of Western Sydney University, and a renowned teaching and expanding Liverpool Hospital, Liverpool is a vibrant, dynamic and evolving city.

Furthermore, I would hazzard a guess that on a pro-rata basis (look it up on Google) Liverpool would have more Tigers fans than your sleepy hollow of academic elites in Balmain.

You would, no doubt, know that Wests Tigers Junior teams use a space at The Whitlam Centre at Liverpool as part of their strength and conditioning training programs.

Well ....you probably wouldn't know any of that. Just let the 1950s ambience of Balmian wash over your thinking and spew forth with ignorance through your keyboard.

Liverpool and surrounds is the future of Wests Tigers. A stadium here, even if shared with the Bulldogs, would go a long way to building a sense of identity and ownership of a footy team by its community.

Do yourself a favour and take that short walk from Balmain, down Darling St Rozelle, to Callan Park. Book yourself in there. And, do us all a favour and leave your laptop at home.

Also seems to be a lot of development happening around Liverpool at the moment. Skyline is definately developing.

Yep. Coming down the hill on Elizabeth Drive, all you can see are high rises. Changed dramatically over the last 5-10 years.

Liverpool is modelling themselves on Parramatta, which in itself is a mini city CBD

I'm not a frequent visitor of Liverpool but have never felt unsafe or at risk, it is starting to look a lot nicer and I think it would be a good place to play our home games.

It is a bit of a hole. I say that as someone who has lived here my whole life. My step dad got taken to Liverpool hospital last week and we were in the emergency room, and druggies find it a good place to squat at 4 in the morning. I’m not running the place down, there are a lot worse places. Cabramatta used to be really bad, drugs on every corner. When I was 6 my mum and I were getting off the train and she was offered heroin. I wouldn’t say there are drugs on every corner in Liverpool, but a lot of drugs get consumed at home.

I would think with the airport and the development going on at present that is likely to improve over the next 10 years.

Wake up and smell the roses unfortunately there are DRUGS available everywhere.

Living within COVID times is this really a valid proposal?
I am not a NSW resident although i am sure the club has great information with postcode data to get a good idea where supporters are based.
Personally i would not want to share with another club, has anything good come of Sharing Bankwest stadium for the games we have played there so far we have a record of 3 wins / 7 losses.
Rather have leichhardt redveloped and Cambelltown as our two stadiums to reflect the amalgamation of 2 prior clubs. Both stadiums currently state capacity $20k.

I highly doubt that Leichhardt will get redeveloped to host 6 major events a year. Campbelltown has a chance as there is the new A League team but I feel Liverpool is more likely has it would potentially have 3 fulltime tenants.

It would be impossible to make Leichhardt any bigger than it already is infrastructure could not handle any increase in capacity its bad enough when its a full house now.
Please remember LIVERPOOL will be a VENUE and available to whoever wants to hire it and as it happens WT'S and Doggies are looking for somewhere to play out of regularly our base will be Concord and Dogs Belmore
Individual home grounds will and are a thing of the past people expect more when they attend a game these days and the cost of providing modern facilities is prohibitive

If we did Liverpool, surely you'd give up Campbelltown, and have maybe one or two historic round games (Souths/Easts,) at LO on a Sunday? I would not be splitting 4/4/4 across three stadiums if one will sit in our region, be brand new and seat 25-30K.

Well i have never had an issue with merging being a long term Balmain supporter, rather support this team that any QLD team.
Will state we should have done much better if we have good governance at a board and executive level and had common goals of being a consistent Top 4 side.
Looks like finally sorting our Roster out now with Mybe asked to find another club.

Well how does Concord fit in with all this isn't it suppose to be the new CEO?
Assume there is no land around there to build a new stadium.
I attend matches at Suncorp and sometimes travel to the gold coast, so NSW is hard to comment on, just want a stadium that becomes a fortress.

Concord will be the COE cost $30 mil+
a new stadium could have been built cost $100mil+ but being close to ANZ not a viable option
Liverpool is a growing area of Sydney it is all ready classed as a City and a good sporting facility is needed.Sydney is decentralising big time with the redevelopment of Parramatta, Liverpool,Campbelltown and the new Airport Sydney will be totally different in the next 5 - 10 years

Ok so concord really is our high performance centre with new modern facilities and we play our games where ever its determined.
Makes sense building stadiums where the fans are located, with easy access and modern facilities. Suncorp is excellent near all the entertainment districts, and good public transport network to get back more easily, Cheers.

Bankwest scared me off any " joint stadiums".

Redevelop one of our home grounds or play out of ANZ full time. Just pick something and stick. We cant be discussing this for the next 20 years.

It will be a venue same as ANZ no bodies home ground shared between WT'S & BULLDOGS and anyone else who wants to hire it the days of each team having a home ground are gone people expect modern facilities we are spoilt

Doubt it. It will be the same as BW and we can watch Wests play a home game from the Steve Price stand instead of the Sterlo. Maybe if the pick Terry Lamb stand we can trick ourselves into thinking its Wests.

ANZ does Neutral well, even wests management team cant mess that agreement up. No one owns it, no team has a direct/ historical links to it. Its the MCG for rugba leeg. It also has the facilities (i agree they need to be top shelf for the modern fan). Its really a no brianer for me.

Love for someone to spend some serious $$$$ on LO/CSS but very unlikley. If we cant have our own, go for the neutral and just play out of one.
