Don't think so ?
He reminded me of Matt utai in his running style .
Don't really follow the lower grades , but I thought Helata was quicker than that ?!

Yes he has that gallop going , but back to the hamstring the way he looks back with a pained look for a moment and then decided to go for it

Looked like a smile to me , if he'd have put a grubber through back on the inside , Martin was looming !

I was going for the Kiwis

Funaki was out?

Te Maire was a class above today. Looked dangerous with every touch. His show and go was very good. Lamar was quiet though.

**Australia’s Tepai Moearoa motors as Junior Kangaroos down Junior Kiwis in Test match**

PARRAMATTA young gun Tepai Moeroa became chief destroyer as Australia’s Junior Kangaroos claimed an entertaining 22-20 victory over the Junior Kiwis at Cbus Super Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The 20-year-old second rower who debuted for the Eels in the NRL late last year was named man of the match after he set up Australia’s first try with a stunning one-handed offload and then scored a crucial late four-pointer himself as the Kangaroos finished the strongest in a seesawing affair.

The Kiwis didn’t go down without a fight though and a late try to Tony Tumusa gave halfback Zach Dockar-Clay the chance to level scores with a sideline conversion that narrowly missed.
**Dockar-Clay was the man who booted the winning field goal when the Junior Kiwis prevailed 15-14 in Auckland last year but he just couldn’t quite get the job done for the second year in a row.**
The under 20s game then finished in a wild melee that spilled towards the fence with a few punches thrown after Kangaroos five-eighth Drew Hutchison was shoulder charged on the final siren.
Australia led New Zealand 14-10 at half-time after a piece of magical play by Cronulla star Valentine Holmes with a superb try just before the break that included a chip kick that had a wicked bounce back for the young Kangaroo.

The Kiwis were fielding a team with just one player — Lamar Liolevave — having tasted NRL football while the Kangaroos boast the likes of Jackson Hastings, Brenko Lee, Robert Jennings, Jordan Drew, Valentine Holmes and Joe Ofahengaue in a talented young batch of up and comers who’ve already experienced action in the top league.

Young Australian halfback Ashley Taylor produced two pieces of crucial play by running down tearaway centre Watson Heleta not just once but twice when the try line was beckoning.

Taylor bolted from the far side of the field both times to drag Heleta down or into touch with superb cover defence that ultimately proved the difference between two evenly matched sides.
It was a less memorable international for Taylor’s Brisbane teammate Jayden Nikorima though, he was carried off on the medicab in the first half when his head hit the hip of Kiwis No.9 Sione Katoa just a few minutes after coming onto the field.

Kiwi front rower Nelson Asofa-Solomona will come under scrutiny too after being placed on report for a dangerous throw on Ofahengaue when he picked up his opposing front rower and dropped him headfirst into the turf.

Junior Kangaroos 22 (Lee, Jennings, Holmes, Moeroa tries; Hastings 2, Holmes 1 goal) def Junior Kiwis 20 (Manu, Martin, Heleta, Tumusa tries; Dockar-Clay 2 goals) at Cbus Super Stadium.

I wonder how much research these guys do. It was Te Maire who kicked the field goal…

Heleta is not a noted speedster.
