Great to see him gong so well…....Ive been laughing my head off at the experts saying he is too old/slow/whatever.

The bloke is a weapon and Im dead set stoked he is going to be in our stellar backline this year.

You Beauty.

PS.......his team is on the top of the table.

He's a genuine superstar. I, too, cant wait to see him in our colours.

Even the Leister fans in that video seemed happy with him. Maybe its just the ones that love to whinge about everything that frequent their website….now that sounds familiar.

Here's a few things to ponder…

When Sailor, Rogers and Tuqiri all went over to Union, who would you have said would make the biggest impact over there?
Personally i would've said Sailor due to his strength and speed.
But now in hindsight, he IMO made the least impact. Then he came back to NRL and had a blinder of a season. maybe even one of his best. Could this mean he was " more suited" for league?

Rogers IMO was in blistering form in the NRL before he went over to Union, went over there, played consistent, but not spectacular, has come back to the NRL and played about the same. Consistent but not spectacular. Does this mean he is more "adaptable" to both codes?

Tuqiri IMO was probably the most impressive to switch codes and make an impact in Union. Does this mean he may be "suited" to Union more than League?

Lote Tuqiri scored his first tries for Leicester as the Tigers thrashed Wasps 34-8 to move to the top of the English Premier League table overnight.

The former Australian dual international joined the Tigers in November after an alleged code of conduct breach put paid to his 67-cap career with the Wallabies, which yielded 31 Test tries
The dynamic back scored twice in the second-half as Leicester, which had cleared more than 20 tonnes of snow from their Welford Road ground, pulled clear from its old rivals in the only one of this weekend's Premiership matches to survive the big freeze engulfing Britain.

"Playing behind a pack like ours is sensational, and it was tremendous to get the tries after being here for seven weeks," Tuqiri said.

"This is one great club and I'm already having a good time, even with this weather," he added.

Lets hope he can do the same for West Tigers, when he finally gets here.

i love how they put something about his conduct in EVERY article they write.. its getting old

nice left to right pass to set up that first try too.
he's certainly got size which would go down well in our backline. from that 10 seconds of vision he looks in good nick.

geeze that jersey gasniers team is wearing is a shocker!

Wow….....two minutes of highlights in 2 months against the team that's lost as many as it's won.......

Awesome can't wait.........

Doesnt look too bad does he…
Whats the $$$/contract situation again?
Three years for $$ _ _ _ _ _ ?

Reportedly $200k from the Tigers plus more in third party sponsorships. It might be a step back from what he's earning at the moment, but he'll hardly be struggling back in the NRL.

I am well and truly over this guy go to france who gives a rats. Its all about Lote and bucks whats to say if he was a tiger he would not walk out half way through the season for more bucks, we dont need this bum at the tigers spend the money on guys who want to play for the tigers

But the club has already shown that it isn't about repaying loyalty to a player who would bleed black, white and gold.
If that was the case, Gallant would've been offered a FAIR contract and we wouldn't be here right now discussing a Tuqiri thread.
To suggest they had money to throw on Tuqiri goes to show the club COULD HAVE offered Gallant more than a slap in the face deal.

Well i think Tuqiri could be quite special playing for the WT. He does have a factor which i am all for. EXPERIENCE. I believe the person who fills the void in the backline must be a experienced and seasoned footy player. Hence that is why if Tuqiri is not the man, the next on my list would be Fitzhenry.
