Lote Tuqiri thread

early apologies if this has already been discussed, but 1800 posts would take awhile to look through!!

David Gallop stipulated that for Lote to be registered he would have to tell the NRL why he was sacked from the ARU. Do you think that information will be released to the public or will it remain behind closed doors. I can't imagine it being anything major - surely he has already told the tigers?

Fair call. Must have been something fairly minor then. It seems the ARU were looking for anything just to get rid of him. Must have needed the cash he was on badly for something else!!
 
I heard from several people that he brought a girl back to his hotel room before match day breaking a stipulation by the coach. Which does lines up with how he was in a position to sue for compensation if they broke his contract on those grounds.

But not good considering he has a family. If true, and we sign him, I hope it was a one off.

Ha! pretty interesting. Obviously nothing happened or his wife would have hung him out to dry. Unless…..

We've gone from speculating on his future with WT, to speculating on his personal life.. a new low for this thread. :laughing: Another 50 pages and we'll be discussing what he had for breakfast, what size jeans he wears, what kinda shampoo he uses…..

he has dreads so i doubt he even uses shampoo… :wink:

I heard from a very Good Source that he eats Imitation Honey Smacks from Aldi.

O'Neill (ARU CEO)never wanted him,thought he was overpriced (he was),& a legacy of Oneills predecessor who signed Lote up in the first place.
This was Lote's 3rd contract breach,& was seen as just cause to terminate his contract.Clearly Lote's lawyers didnt see it that way,& a substantial payout was allegedly negotiated which wasnt that far from his original contract.
Lote was the real winner,until he had to go home & face the wife….
 
during our lives, we sometimes make decisions, that in hindsight could have been done different.
do any of us really know how we will re-act to situations until we are faced with them.
personally there are a few things, all work related, which if i had the chance would alter.
but I can't, so have to learn from experience, and move on.
.
I am just waiting to see if Lote does actually end up playing with wests-tigers.
if he does then the only interest in him I will have his performance on field.

Obviously untrue. There are no nightclubs in Canberra - the place isn't that exciting. If the paper said Queanbeyan RSL, however…
 
who really cares. its old news and his return to NRL will be the new talking point.. no one talked about the DELLs snifing of white powder once he returned

Well said Troy….......couldn't agree more......

Now is what's important.....God people like Warnie and Woods are adored by most as absolute Legends of their sport......Off the field however they are complete gits.....

It's all speculation as you say......if it remains undisclosed to the public ........who cares....

westTAHger...says it well.... it's what he does on the field that's important....hope he does come back and kill it......
