Tell you what..I was initially excited about signing Loti and thought Yeah great buy Tigers!…Now that I hear he's noty coming till round 6or so and the games he appears to be playing with us and the NRL I'm thinking we dont need him. We have some great talent in this club and Loti would be holding some of these Guys back....I reckon we can do better with the money Loti would command..and buy another Marquee player...

i second that.. I say NO TO LOTE

Well we have not made the 8 in 4 seasons with a similar batch of players so I wouldn't be chest beating that we can win the comp and make the Top 4 without the aid of a couple of top notch recruits.

Not ideal if he is coming until Round 6\. However Im more excited about seeing Tuqiri on the end of a backline movement then Beau Ryan. If Sailor at 35 could play good football and contribute im sure Lote given time, wwill go great guns.

From what I read on here Ryan is the one thats dropped, which imo is wrong. Also Fults on Gibbs imo are taking up the space of the likes of who you speak of Tomcat hopfully Fults proves me wrong but I think gibbs is a lost cause.

Gibbs a lost cause 😱pen_mouth: That'll do me. He was one of the Tigers best forwards last year and still has improvement in him.

I wouldn't dismiss Ryan just yet either.

I didnt dismiss Ryan and what we saw of gibbs last season was his best I am sorry to say, he gives away stupid penalties and is a liability in defence. Yes he does run hard but doesnt seem to break the line much and his offloads leave me dumbfounded sometimes they always hit the deck.
Any way thats how I see it Im sure willow sees different!

At best Ryan is solid.
At worst Tuquiri is solid.

Top work Tigers for signing Tuquiri. Rnd 6 isn't ideal but it will be good to see him when he arrives.

C'mon, flame away…...

I think a lot will depend on the availability of Tuiaki in the first few rounds.

They already know what the availabilty is for him for the first few rounds and the next few after that and few after that and then the next few after that. So we can forget that reason now.

Must be watching a different game. Gibbs played 21 games last year, averaged 103 metres per game, averaged 24 tackles a game including several try savers, missed 27 tackles for the season and made 12 errors for the season. Not sure how he's a liability in defence. Skando missed 31 tackles, Galea and Heighington missed 42 tackles and Payten missed 54 tackles in comparison.

Does that mean he is in round 1?
Why all the cryptic?

I am just putting my point of view across on what I think about Gibbs, hope you had fun researching all that. I still think he adds little impact to our pack. I am also sure many others do as well!

there is no cryptic about it. But no, he wont be around in the fist round…...

So why not just say what round they are expecting him back?

Cause they don't know the answer….Tuiaki's break was a pretty bad one......got a feeling we won't see the big fella until well into the season.....

A Perth Reds union bloke, name eludes me, had a similar break to Tui.....mid 2008....played 2 games last year and hopes to be back this season.....
