Lotes last game

It should be. You have to look at everything when deciding a new contract and I can't see any positive. Immensely injury prone, in bd form and in his twilight years. I'd like to see us try a pacey NYC player. What have we got to lose?

Sadly, I think this is right Tiger Jim. He has been a great footballer and it is sad that his last two years have been so plagued by injury.

I hope his latest injury heals and I wish him well at his next club. His age and body have become a liability. I wouldn't resign him even for $100k next season. We have plenty of wingers in the club that will do the job and it's time to give them a go. I can't wait to see Utai and Beau on the wing. That is definitely our strongest options at the moment anyway

Not the way he deserved to go, but he'll struggle to find a club from here IMO, and if he does, I don't think he'll be at the Tigers. A cruel blow for the big guy and I would have liked to see him go out on a high.

I can't see him coming back from this. It took him a long time to come back last year and he never really found his previous form. I think he will announce his retirement in the coming weeks.

Looked a bad fracture when they showed the scans during the game

He won't be back this season and if we offer him a contract now it would be a massive risk

Offer him a role at the club which has him dealing with and talking to kids

Seriously, he should go to Church and thank God for the 400k per season he's been paid. Unbelievable money for such a small return. The Tigers were Lote's Alan Bond

I rekon he'll get another club. He won't command much and could get a final season somewhere if he wants it, won't surprise me if it's here. I hope he stays in a mentoring role for our u20s players.

CT completely agree…only real value we got from him was marketing value...

Sucks for the guy. Hopefully he gets an off field role with us or something overseas to get some last $$ before he retires.

A bit harsh IMO- not much he can do about getting injured. In 2010 he was fantastic..one of our better players that year. None of our outside backs have had any decent ball coming out to them this year at all, they are just being used as hit up merchants so haven't really had the chance to show anything.
Good luck to you Lote and i'm sure the other fellas have loved having you around, hopefully one of our young wingers can have half the success that you have :sign:

Feel sorry for him, he deserves to go out on a better note.

Totally agree, hybrid.

**jarryd hayne (jarrydhayne_1) @LoteTuqiri get well soon bro**
Another nice sentiment from Hayne on Twitter - he's growing on me all the time.
