Lui comes into reckoning as Tigers wait on McKinnon update

What about Brown to fullback and Moltzen to centre?

I think you guys are overly harsh, he is still on the comeback trail. He needs allot more gametime before we will see the Timmy of old.

If he can get back to his old 2009 form at fullback, I will be happy.

Mitch Brown to full back pleaseeeeee….. Even if every other player is 100% fit, we still are better off with Brown there, hes played about 5 games at fullback and been nothing but first class! Perfection under the high ball. Perfection when creating the overlap on the edge whilst in attach, just like Slater does.

Seriously, I didnt like Brown until i saw him play fullback and i still dont like him in other positions. If hes not fullback or shouldnt be there.

Moltz and Lui are both great halfbacks, i dont care which one plays half back aslong as the other is then on the bench and not at fullback!

When we win, everyone is happy. When we lose, it seems obvious that its due to players in wrong positions - just like last week. Thats enough im getting emotional!

Over and out!

FIRE UP TIMMY MOLTZEN!!!!!

That's what I yelled at him when he didn't go for that bomb last week. I was hoping to encourage him, but he just dropped his head. So much for my powers of motivation.

I've never doubted Moltzen's courage. He may never be a gung-ho kick returner, but the other facets of the role will come to him in time. As I recall, people here weren't so keen on McKinnon not that long ago.

Moltzen will prove you all wrong.

Probably, eventually….but right now hes taking time to get back to full confidence from his injury, he's gunshy and its blatantly obvious.

If Moltzen plays fullback I give up. What an absolute joke.

Playing someone who is scared of contact at fullback is utterly ridiculous.

couldnt agree more ….
sheens thinks we are all dopes ... maybe we are .....supporters :bash sheens

I think some of you guys are going overboard saying Moltzen is scared - there aren't too many guys get to first grade by not putting their body on the line,
Unlike nearly everyone else who bases their belief in that because he didn't contest the ball through lack of ticker I think it was just a bad error of judgement and he thought it would bounce over the dead ball line.
He wouldn't be the first (or the last) fullback to do that.
I do agree with just about everyone else that fullback is not his go - rather McKinnon or Brown there.
Sheens should leave him at half - or at worst in the centres.

Why are we even discussing this.

Surely the prospect of Lui returning is much more interesting. That really changes my entire view of how I think this match will go, could be massive.

Timmy at the moment couldn't tie Meaney's shoelaces in a fullback position…yeah yeah , I know , I'm just a State Cup Jumkie, but Tim should be the starting half and uf Lui is playing be the #14, as his match fitness will be questionable , and with haven't loss a game when Tim plays in the #7 jersey

Dude, yes we have.

He was number 7 against the gold coast.

go and watch the game analyser particularly the try zillman scored. - he wore 7.

that stupid superstition is now a shot duck. :imp:

i couldn't care less if he wore the number pi on his back. just put brown at fullback instead of him.

he wore 7 but started fullback not at 7 or 6 if u want to be pedantic - superstition is still alive.

Meaney isn't fit to tie my shoe laces. I don't care what any of our players do in any of the lower grades. It is what they do in first grade that counts.
